Camouflage
As I'm sure you could guess, if you you went out to catch yourself a Kebbit, you would make it pretty easy for the kebbet to notice you if you're walking around in full rune and a dragon battleaxe. However, if you look like one of the animals, it helps a great deal. So hunt those Kebbits and Big Cats (pitfall traps) and go hunt, for making all capes, gloves, armour ect that goes with hunting go to the fancy dress shop in varrok to make it.
The Hunter's Crossbow (requires level 50 Ranging)
This is another item that you all will want as it is fast and stylish. You will find the man, Leon who will sell it to you in the hunter shop in Yanille. He sells it for 1300gp. You can either fletch or buy the bolts, to buy the bolts you need either 1 Kebbit Spike and 20gp which gives you 6 Kebbit Bolts, or 1 Long Spike and 40gp which gives you 6 Long Kebbit Bolts. You could however fletch the bolts at lv 32 for Kebbit Bolts and 42 for Long Kebbit Bolts.
---------------------
There are four main areas to hunt in...
The Woodlands south of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony
This is the main hunting area as most of the hunting that you can do is based around here but is not the most popular for beginners, yet it is for the advanced breed of hunter. The animals that swarm around this area are a Wild kebbit, a -----ly Kebbit, a Razorbacked kebbit, a Copper longtail, a Rubby Harvest, a Normal Chinchompa, a Common Kebbit, a Spotted Kebbit, a Dark Kebbit, and a Dashing kebbit.

Fairy Ring Code - AKQ (Head south)
The Jungle south of the Feldip Hills

Fairy Ring Code - AKS ( Head south)
The Snow, north of the entrance to Keldagrim
It has wonderful sights like the floating icebergs and butterflys. These creatures live here a Saphire Glacialis, a Snowy Knight, a Sabretooth Kebbit, a Sabretooth Kayat, a Cerulean Twitch, and a
Polar Kebbit.

Fairy Ring Code - DKS (Head north)
The Desert, south of Shantay Pass
The desert is one of the most difficult hunting areas, being that you can die of thirst, it is strongly recommended that you bring waterskins. Only 3 animals recide here and that is a Desert Devil, an Orange salamander and a Golden Warbler.

Fairy Ring Code - DLQ (Head north)

There are many different types of hunting, as not every animal can be hunted in the same way. This section of the guide will go through which sort of hunting can catch which type of animal. You can smoke your traps at level 39 to remove your scent from them, also wearing camouflage native to that area will also hide you.
To start go to Yanille and the hunting shop, the prices for the items are here:

- Noosing Wand - Required to catch Kebbits (only the kind listed in this section not any other sort of Kebbits.Tracking is also a possible first form of hunting that you will may choose to do, as it can be started at level one. Tracking is simple, and the first place to start it is the snow region, but the main place that people start is in the Pictoris Fishing colony. To start tracking find a burrow, and inspect it, some footprints should go out of the burrow and you walk to the end of them. Once there inspect evey possible object till you find more, keep doing this until you find the kebbit. Attack the hiding place with a noose wand and you get the kebbit. The rewards from tracking are raw meat, bones and some fur. The fur is used to make camouflage armour listed below. There are four locations to do tracking, Woodland, Snow, Jungle and the Desert.

Snow Tracking:
Go to the iceberg by asecnding up the steps. You will see bushes, burrows, hollow logs and snow rifts just keep looking till you find footprints and then eventually the Kebbit.
Jungle Tracking:
At the very southern border of the ogre jungle there are the tracking kebbits, but this is the same as the normal woodland tracking.
Desert Tracking:
Go to the desert hunting spot and search all the plants, bushes, sand piles and rocks just keep looking till you find footprints and then eventually the Kebbit.
The rewards from these are...
Camouflage furs native to that area,
Meat,
Bones.

Bird Snaring ( Level 1+ )
- Bird Snare - Required to Catch birdsThis is the first form of hunting that you will most likely do. This involves simply setting a Bird Snare and waiting for a bird to land on it and be caught. With all types of hunting, using a torch to hide your scent will raise the chance of getting a bird. However, this method isn't perfect and you could have two problems. The first is that a bird would land but not fall for the trap, therefore disarming your trap. If this happens, dismantle it and lay it again. Also, your trap can fall down. If this is the case, just do the same as before and lay it again. When you succesfully catch a bird, you will get feathers, some raw meat and some bones, the meat MUST be cooked on a spitroast. There are four locations for bird snaring, Woodland, Snow, Jungle and the Desert.
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/3161/birdhuntingbm4.png The rewards from Bird Snaring are... Bones Raw Bird Meat Feathers Red - Orange - Brown - Cerulean - Rainbow ( used to catch the rainbowfish which is a bait for the Barbtailed Kebbit) - All the feathers can be sold to the fancy dress shop. Crimson swift - Lv 1 - Exp 34 -
Golden warbler - Lv 5 - Exp 48 -
Copper longtail - Lv 9 - Exp 61 -
Cerulean twitch - Lv 11 - Exp 65 -
Tropical wagtail - Lv 19 - Exp 96 -
Butterfly Hunting ( Level 15+ )
- Butterfly Net - Required to Catch Butterflies
- Butterfly Jar - Required to Catch Butterflies
Butterfly Hunting is in fact extremely simple. However, you must be level 15 to start it. All you need to do is equiped a butterfly net and have a butterfly jar in your inventory. Simply wield the butterfly net and click the butterfly to catch it, your character will follow it till s/he catches it (Note: Must be the right level to catch it and it isn't a guaranteed catch.) The reward for butterfly hunting is only a captured live Butterfly, note Butterflies have the ability to boost certain stats in multi-combat areas. Butterflys can be found in the woodland, snow and jungle.
The rewards from these are...
Your very own live,
Ruby Harvest - Boosts Attack -
Sapphie Glacialis - Boosts Defence -
Snowy Knight - Boosts HP -
Black Warlock - Boosts Strength -
These will only work in a multicombat zone on another player.
Ruby harvest - Lv 15 - Exp 24 -
Sapphire Glacialis - Lv 25 - Exp 34 -
Snowy Knight - Lv 35 - Exp 44 -
Black Warlock - Lv 45 - Exp 54 -
Deadfall ( Level 23+ )
To do deadfall, you need to find a selection of suitable rocks for deadfall, which will usually be surrounded by kebbits or will at least have kebbits in the nearby area. Once you've found this, you will need a knife and logs. Simply click on the boulder to set the trap and watch it trap a kebbet. Find the preferred bait for the kebbit ( Wild - Raw meat, Barbed - Rainbow fish, -----ly - Barley, and Sabertoothed - Raw meat) This isn't guaranteed as sometimes the trap falls down. If it does you get your bait back but not the logs. Deadfall can be found in Snow, Woodland and Jungle.
There are many rewards from this...
Kebbit spikes
Meat only with the wild kebbit
Dentures
Barbed Harpoon
Wild Kebbit - Lv 23 - Exp 128 -
Barbtailed Kebbit - Lv 33 - Exp 168 -
-----ly Kebbit - Lv 37 - Exp 204 -
Sabretooth Kebbit - Lv 51 - Exp 200 -
Rabbit Snaring ( Level 27+ )
- Rabbit Snare – This is used to catch wild rabbits.
To hunt rabbits you must have completed the Eagle’s Peak quest. To begin lay as many snares as your level will allow around the mouths of the rabbit burrows (The area in the south of the woodland with six burrows in a circle) then after that is done get your ferret (collected from the box trapping) and ‘flush’ out the rabbit from its burrow. The rabbit will run out of the burrow and will either get trapped in the snare or run away. As with all traps at level 39 you can smoke it to remove your scent.
The rewards from rabbit snaring are…
Bones
Rabbit Meat – This can be either roasted on a spit or cooked on a range.
Rabbit’s Foot – At level 39 crafting this foot can be crafted into a lucky rabbits foot necklace with a ball of wool.
This is a priceless item for woodcutting as it will greatly increase your chances of getting a birds nest.
Rabbit – Lv 27 – Exp 144 -
Eagle Flying ( Level 27+ )
- A giant eagle this is what you use to fly.
To fly the Eagles you must have done the quest Eagle's Peak and have some rope and the eagle disguise. Head for the Peak and go inside to the three eagles past the messy room. Once there click on the one you want,
With all of these Eagles the cave they fly you to has two Eagles, two exits (use the smaller one; the big one is for Eagles) and there is a rope respawn. You keep your rope when used on an Eagle.
Desert Eagle - Flys you to the desert hunting area, there is a problem though there is a boulder blocking the entrance. What you will have to do is go to where the ruins of Uzer are and go north until you find the boulder and push it away then you can use this method, this is a two way system ( will take you to Piscatoris and back).
Polar Eagle - Flys you to the snow hunting area, this cave has no problems and will let you use it two ways.
Jungle Eagle - Flys you to the jungle hunting area. This is only one way as once you go out the cave it is too high up for you to get back in; you will end up in a cave outside the Hunter master.
Net Trapping ( Level 29+ )
Net trapping is also pretty simple. Get yourself some rope and net and attach it to one of the bendy younger trees around Runescape and watch it catch a lizard or a salamander for you. As with all the other methods of hunting, this isn't guaranteed and using a torch does help. Green Salamanders can be found in the Swamp Lizard Area in Morytania, Orange salamanders in the Uzer Hunter area, Red Salamanders in the Area south-west of Ardougne and the Black Salamander Area level 20 Wilderness.
Baits:
Green Lizard - Guam Leaf + 15 Swamp Tar
Orange Salamander - Marrentill + 15 Swamp Tar
Red Salamander - Tarromin + 15 Swamp Tar

Pitfall ( Level 31+ )
- Teasing Stick - Required to catch Pitfall creaturesPitfall is one of the hardest styles of hunting out there, but with some very good rewards. It can be started at level 31 hunting. Pitfall traps are when you use logs on a pit to make some spikes. But that is the easy part, now for the dangerous bit. You now need to get a teasing stick and poke at your prey untill it runs after you. Once that happens, run and jump over your pit and, with a bit of luck (And a high hunting level), the animal should fall in. The animal will not go over the same trap twice so you will have to make another trap else where by dismatling your original trap. Theese big rampaging cats can be found in the Jungle, Snow or north of Cairn Isle in Karamanja.

The rewards are...

Falconry ( Level 43+ )
Falconry is the art of hunting using a Falcon. However, this can only be done in one enclosed area, just south of Picatoris. It can be started at level 43 hunting. To start Falconry, you first need to pay the Matthias (The owner of the encolsed Falconry area) 500gp to have a go with a Falcon. You will be given a glove with the bird on. Equip it and when you see a Kebbit, left click it in order for the Falcon to fly over and catch your prey for you. As per usual with any type of hunting, this is never guaranteed, you may fail with this. You have a 9/10 chance of catching the kebbit if it's still but a 0/10 chance of catching it if is moving.. If so, just try again.

Box Trapping ( Level 27+ )
http://img329.images.../boxtrapxf7.gif - Box Trap - Required to Catch Chinchompas
Box Trapping is the art of trapping a small Chinchompa inside a small box. This can be started at level 53 Hunting. To start, buy some boxes from one of the Hunting Shops and set out to the designated areas for hunting Chinchompas (Feledip Fields - Red Chinchompa and South of Piscatoris - Normal Chinchompa). You will need some bait, but that isn't necessary if you smoke the trap first.. Normal Chinchompas will be very attracted to spicy tomatoes. To make spicey tomatoes, you need to use Tomatoes on an empty bowl, bearing in mind that you have a knife in your inventory. Then, simply use a bit of Gnome Spice on it and you have your own Chinchompa bait. Red Chincompa bait (Spicey meat) is created in the same way, except that you must use a piece of Cooked Meat instead of a Tomato. Once that's done, lay the box trap, place your bait on it (left clicking it) and wait for a little Chinchompa to come crawling in. You get a very explosive prize. To hunt ferrets you must have completed the Eagle’s Peak quest. Ferrets are in the south west region of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony Woodlands (Eagle's Peak Camp). You hunt them exactly the same as chinchompas exept the bait is raw meat.
http://img82.imagesh...trapsthmku2.png
There are only 3 rewards from this and they are...
A Ferret (used to 'flush' rabbits),
an equipable Chinchompa,
or a Red Chinchompa.
Chinchompas but not ferrets have 3 attack styles: short, medium and long. This is the length of the fuse you vary the length of the fuse in preportion to your distance away from your opponent. Short fuses does most damage for a short distance opponent, medium does most damage for a medium distance opponent and long does most damage to long distance opponents.

Magical Imp Boxes ( Level 71+ )
http://img295.images...alimpboxjh3.gif - Magic Box - Required to catch Imps.
Imps are caught in the exact same way as Chinchompas except for two main differences. The first one is the trap. Rather than a normal box trap, you need a Magical Box Trap. Also, it is different bait. You need to use beads to attract Imps. To bank with the imps you right click on the captured imp box indicated with a (2) next to it and click bank, you will then be informed with a screen showing your inventory, and you can choose 2 items or stacks of items, one stack counts as one item it is as simple as that, but I warn you dont trust them fully as they can loose your items. They will also refuse to bank your items past level 30 wilderness
Pic coming soon...
The reward from a magical box is an Imp in a Box which you can use to bank 2 items (this also counts stacked items so you cant take 200 iron arrows you can only take 2).
