looking at the operating system disc i have my laptop one that is a HP but my computer is a packard bell will this ---- my computer up or just be like normal ????
and i don't have the other driver discs
edit: if u look before i have some of my problems about the 22GB thing. but when i start windows it always says what system would u like to boot into or somethink like that.it has 3 windows xp systems on it does this mean i have 3 windows Xp installed onto 1 computer and what what is making my computer so laggy and not alot of memony and i also can't delete half my programs in the thing windows give you i have to go to all programs to uninstall them. i did not say this before cause it was no much to ask but i am so pissed off wiht this i knew i should not of elt my mate do it to my computer he has ----ed it up!!!!!!

I do that at work all the time, if your actually able to boot from those disks on the packerd bell you be fine. Problem is unless that hp disk is an OEM copy (Which, if it doesn't include drivers it prolly is..so your lucky with that) It'll just tell you that the packerd bell isn't the right computer for those disks.
No harm can come from trying either way, if your able to boot from the disks and get into the windows setup..your fine. You'll have to hunt down the drivers online, which isn't fun at all. (You will -NEED- another computer with an active internet connection to get the drivers, since when you format/reinstall your NIC drivers will be gone. Meaning you won't be able to get onto the internet untill you reinstall then.) ^^

so that will work lol well i have repaired windows using this disc and it has worked fine i don't know if that means it will work but it's got to be a good thing right?
edit: this is the reason why i would like to format it
my harddrive should be 80 but look it only says 22!?!?!
