Such would imply that we as players have any rights over the intellectual property of the Gowers' creation. Am I a dictator if I don't offer someone a sweet out of a bag I bought? The fact that they created and own the game means that they may do with it as they will. If you disagree, either don't play or go and create your own game.

2. There's a suggestion area that surprisingly, Jagex members look at.

Since the compay Jagex created Runescape, they have the choice to be a dictator in a sort of sense. It's their creation like Rob said, and they get the choice of what they want to do with it. Every now and then, they actually do look toward player's ideas and they may impliment them in the game, which doesn't seem dictatatious (is that a word?) at all. Either you'll like the game and not care what they do with it, or you can quit just because you don't like what they are doing. Simple as that.

So what are Guaranteed Content Polls then? A dictatorship? I think not.
I have read some of the suggestion threads in the runescape forum and Jagex themselves listen and post there. If you are f2p, like me, you may feel that they don't listen, but thats just because we aren't paying members. They do ask and listen, just mostly only to members.

The Guaranteed Poll Content kinda hurts the whole idea of that the Jagex Company having dictatorship. The Guaranteed Poll, as far as I am concerned, seems like a bit of democracy.
