Hello, my name is Caleb for those of you who do not know. Currently I'm 18 years old and I will be attending Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in the Fall as a Freshman. I will be majoring in Computer Science but depending if I like it or not, my major could possibly change.

My family is pretty much my life and I would do anything for them. As cliche as it sounds, I would give my life for them if the situation depended on it. Even though I don't show much gratitude or love towards my family, they hold a very special place in my heart because without them, I am nothing.

I am a fairly laid back person when it comes to life for the most part. (Probably because I'm a huge procrastinator) My personality can be quite complex in a way that even I don't understand why I act the way that I do. When I'm around certain people, my true self is shown. Usually it consists of me acting really odd, stupid, outgoing in ways, and random. When I'm in situations where I don't know a lot of people, I'm usually quiet, shy, and I don't want any interaction with anyone. When I'm by myself, I usually just feel depressed for the most part.

I can be a very emotional person but I usually try to hid my emotions. I don't need people to know how I feel because frankly, they don't need to know. I'm quite pessimistic as well, even if I don't intend to be. I'm not too fond of myself and I don't see how others have a tolerance to like me if I don't even like myself from time to time.

My hobbies include playing the drums, singing, listening to music, and art.

I've been playing the drums for 5 years though I'm no where near the level that I should be. I never bothered to learn the basic rudiments which in turn never helped me progress as a drummer. So now, I've decided to start at least learning a few rudiments to help me become better, but they are so boring and sometimes hard to get the techniques down.

I've been singing since I was in the 5th grade. Throughout my "school career" of singing, I've won several medals for UIL events and have always been in the highest leveled choirs in my schools. So apparently, I'm a decent singer according to others.

I love music to death. Music is practically my solace. I consider myself to have a wide variety of taste in music. I listen to Swing, Jazz, 60's music, Techno, House, Trance, Rock, Alternative, Hard Rock, Ambient, Emo, Screamo, Post-Hardcore, Christian, Christian Rock, Christian Metal, Gospel, Experimental, Praise and Worship, Electronica, J-Pop, some Metal, some Pop, some Hip Hop, some Rap, and probably some more that I cannot currently think of.

As much as I love art, I don't consider myself talented in that area at all. I'm not sure if it's because I'm always too under-confident in myself in everything I do or what, but that' just how I feel about it. I do like to draw mainly because that's the only thing I consider myself half way decent at. But at the end of the day, I'm more of an art appreciator.

I've rambled probably too much about myself and more than likely gave out too much information than what I had intended to give out. I like to keep to myself so if I see anything in here I don't like, I'll probably remove it sooner or later.
