Welcome to RuneCrypt - The Holy Grail of Runescape.
We here at this site are a tightly bonded group of members who enjoy each other’s company and regularly welcome people into our community. We are all friends here, and you can be our friend to as long as you follow some simple guidelines.
If this is your first time on a forum, welcome! If it is not your first time, welcome anyway! To give you a general idea, a forum is a web page where people can talk to each other in set topics through posts. If you need help with forums, any of the members or staff will be glad to help.
10 Guidelines of RuneCrypt
1. Check the rules.
- These are the guidelines to follow. If you base all your posts on this, then we guarantee you won’t get into trouble.
2. Don’t spam to get your post count up.
- Everyone is a duck once. A quick overview of the posting system: As your post more, your number of posts increase and you are deemed a new monster. Example: You go from duck to rat.
3. Don’t flame if you don’t like what you hear.
- Things can become pretty heated in the debate room. If someone is blasting and flaming you for your views, don’t do the same. It only adds to the problem.
4. Remember that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
- While on RuneCrypt you are talking to real people with real feelings. If their opinion differs from yours, don’t be mad. You may not agree, but there is no reason to argue.
5. Always post so others can read what you are saying.
- Now I know that ‘l33t’ is popular among gamers. This is perfectly ok. Acronyms such as ‘thx, plz, np’ are perfectly acceptable. But when you have a huge paragraph which consists of ‘1 d0n7 `1ik3 7h1s p10z’ it is really a strain on the eyes.
6. Be nice to others.
- It’s a simple as that: You be nice to others-they will be nice to you.
7. If you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say it.
- If someone wrote a guide and you personally think it is ugly and useless, don’t say it that way. You can just as easily say ‘Well good job, but I think that this needs some work.’ That way everyone is happy.
8. Don’t come here just to advertise your site.
- We always get the people who sign up just to say ‘Come to my site now!’ Please don’t…you just make a fool of yourself and make more work for the moderators. If you aim just to advertise your site, you are not welcome here.
9. Don’t ridicule others.
- Did someone say something that you think is completely wrong? Well don’t make fun of them…You can simply ask them why they think that and then have a civilized debate over it.
10. Have fun!
- The biggest thing to remember here at RuneCrypt is to have fun! We may have rules, but that is only to help you, the members, and keep you happy.
