2 Liter Diet Coke

Ok, now, you get a test tube, then put a full load of mentos in there. THen, you unscrew the lid to the liter Diet Coke. Now, put a paper on top of the lid, the tip the test tube upside down onto the paper. Then, move the paper, drop them in, then run! and KABOOM! The sweetest experiment ever!

Produces lots of data, lots of graphs, lots to write about. You can use it for the RDA in humans for biology, or for concentrations in chemistry. yada yada , all really boring. At least you get to drink it afterwards hehe

2 liter diet coke
6 mentos

tape the 6 mentos together in a line, they should look like this:

Now take the remaining tape on the top and tape that to the inside of the cap of the diet coke, but make sure it can still screw onto the bottle.

Then, put the cap on the bottle with the mentos dangling from beneeth it, and they shouldn't be able to touch the liquid yet. After it is on tight, shake the bottle up and tap it on the ground until the strand of mentos falls into the bottle. Now, unscrew the cap a lil and chuck that bottle into the ground, trying to make it so the bottle cap hits the ground first. This should break off the cap from the pressure, and send it flying into the air.

Suggested: when throwing it make sure you are on a hard surface. and make sure there is lots of room around you and you are away from buildings, cars, etc.

Get dirty pennies and use different things to soak them in. See which cleans it the best.

Ingredients:
3 Packs of Mintos
2 Bottles of Soda, one diet, one regular.

Throw the mintos in the soda, and watch it stream up.
Throw the other mintos in the diet, and watch it stream up.
Record the difference.
And explain why it spurts up.
