x - y
5 - 20
3 - 12
1 - 4
x - -1
5x = 20
3x = 12
1x = 4
First find what the common function is; in the first part, x = 4; all you need to know for that is basic division. in a function you're trying to find a common constant that will give you Y.
Then, you can figure out the last one. You know that if y = -1 for the last point, you have to see what times 4 will equal Y
X x 4 = -1
Then use basic algebra to solve.

X = -1
X/4 = -1/4
X = -1/4
