Anyone else play Guildwars? and do they have and tips / advice? So far i have a level 9 warrior monk with chainmail and that lvl 50 ascalon armour. I also have a level 8 pyromancer thingy (elementalist/mesmer)

And if you know of any decent guilds i can join it would be appreciated

I used to play i quit pretty quickly though cause there is notihng to keep you coming back :\ theres not enough lvls for a combat based game.

Tip:Don't be a warrior,by the end of the game warriors are too common and noone wants them,want people want on that game is spellcasters,especially monks,necro and eles.

Yeh warriors are very common at the end of the game lol. Still, you can never find one when you need one

i like ritualist, theyre really good when you get high level spirits. i like blood and pain, and shadowsong lol

AF monk/necro is one of the best healing combos in the game because of the necromancer skills that give plus regen to energy. Also the Elite skill Offering of Blood gives an instant 20 energy regen. I have a Lvl 20 w/mo, Lvl 20 n/mo, Lvl 20 a/r, and Lvl 6 d/mo. If anyone needs help, pm me. My guys names are Ed the not so big, Ed the Minion Mastr, Ed an insignificant, and Ed the Small. I'll help you with anything you need! And AF tell your brother that elementalist/mesmer is a great combo too. The Elite skill and regular skill Arcane Echo allow the elementalist to "echo" the most recent skill they used. Such skills as Meteor Shower and Maelstrom have a very long recharge time. They can be used again using Echo and Arcane Echo.

I went to Old Ascalon at lvl 2 I was using my TV as a monitor because m new monitor was faulty, I couldn't read the text and accepted a mission at lvl 2 which took me to Old Ascalon.

old ascalon is really prefered at lv 10 because u want to learn as many skills at your class be fore spending money on old ascalon for them

What exactly does a weapon mean if its purple..

Slightly rarer than a blue weapon which is less common than a white weapon but no where near as rare as a gold weapon.

Purple means it comes already with one modifier on it, and a possible damage modifier.
