I did'nt get some of the Q's on this assignment, so I am turning to Runecrypt for some help. MAJOR HELP!

1)A balance is a scientific tool used to measure:
a Temperature b Time
c Volume d Mass

2) Put the following into scientific notation:
a 0.005km
b 0.000 0037kg

3) Write the answer in scientific notation:
03000,312m to the third power divided by 486
Example of Scientific notation: 23,000,000,000,000 would be 2.3x10 to the 13th power

4) Express the following quantities using an SI prefix befor the proper unit:
a 0.004g
b 75,000m

Can't really understand 3, and don't know about 4.

nope its 5 x (10 ^ -3)

for 4:
a 0.004g = 4 miligrams
b 75,000m = 75 kilometers

and for 3, can you please repost what the thing says? i can't understand it

Actually .004g in SI prefix would be .000004kg b cuz SI unit for mass is kg so you have to change it to amount in kg.
and ur right about b. its 75 km
