Now, I know alot of people say that vectors are easy to make. Not saying this isn't the case, but in my oppinion they look really good, and thats what matters in a signature.

^ Huge selection.

1- Open up a new document (Any size, doesnt matter, but for the purposes of this tutorial I will be using 300x150.)
2- Take the Paint Bucket (Hotkey = G) tool, choose a color of your choice, then make a new layer (Hotkey: SHIFT + CTRL + N)
3- Take the Elliptical Marquee (Hotkey = M) tool, and make a selection that goes off the edge of the signature.

Fill this selection with white, and set the opacity to around 25%.
Repeat this on the other side of the signature.

4- Now we will start some brushing. Create a new layer, then take out a set of vector brushes, and using the brush tool (Hotkey = B), set to white, brush. Be strategic, maybe put 2-4 smaller shapes onto the canvas. When you have done brushing, set the opacity to 50%.

5- Now do the same as 4, but with a black brush, and set the opacity to 25%.

6- Now make a new layer, and paint with a black brush at 100%.
7- Now for the forground. Take a white brush, set to 100%, and brush on the canvas.
When you have done brushing, duplicate the layer (Hotkey = ALT + J) and go to Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur Set the blur to about 4 pixels.

8- You can now, if you wish, add in any personal touches. I have added some lines (a brush) to a new layer and put it under the brush layers.
9- Now for text. I'm using the Alba font (http://www.dafont.com/alba.font), in white with the stroke set to 5.

10- Add a border (in this case im adding a 5 pixel black one), By making a new layer, pressing ALT + A, then going to EDIT - Stroke

Congratulations you have finished the tutorial! Save it (File - Save for web), host it (www.imageshack.us) and show us your work.
