Our Mission...

"TDM exists to further the enjoyment of RuneScape by providing a clean and mature atmosphere where all types of players, PK'ers and non-PK'ers alike, can share their gaming experiences within a safe and friendly community."

The primary focus at TDM is having FUN!! A lot of clans today focus mostly on gaining strength and climbing up in the ranks, but us monkeighs want a relaxed environment where everyone can have fun without all the pressures to train combat non-stop and be #1 in the ranks. For over 4 years, TDM has diligently pursued the goal to have a clan that values players of all sorts. If you enjoy focusing on non-combat skills and attending fun events, you'd find a home in TDM. If you enjoy pk trips, combat training, wars, and fun wars, then you will have plenty of opportunities to be a part of these in TDM. And of course, if you enjoy all aspects of the game: combat, non-combat, mini-games, community, etc... then TDM is the place for you!

PKing & Combat related activities:

• Clan members are welcome to host their own Clan Wars trips.
• Full rune wars and fun wars.
• Class 101, where our experienced pkers offer lessons and advice on pking.
• Clan Wars and fun wars with our allies.
• We enforce pk rules accordingly.

Non-PK & Skill Related Activities:

• Lots of mini-game events such as Trawler, Pest Control, Castle Wars, Clan Wars and Fight Pits.
• Weekly GWD Events
• Skill training events.
• Plenty of fun activities such as Hide & Seek, King Black Dragon hunts, godwars dungeon and snowball fights.
• Allied events with our great allies: The British Elites and The Eleventh Hour
• Skill competitions with great rewards.
• Events for both f2p & p2p players.
• Members are welcome to suggest and/or host their own events.

*Note: For all events, pk & non-pk, the scheduled times typically cater to EST and GMT timezones. However, occasional AEST events are held and members are also encouraged to host events that work for their own timezone.

TDM Guarantees:

• Fair leaders who work together as a team, not as a dictatorship.
• A respectful atmosphere: no flaming and no swearing.
• Combat requirements will not raise above 85+. This helps keep our focus on community.
• Loyal clan members will have opportunities for jobs within the clan.
• PK trips, specific events, and wars will never be made mandatory. Members can choose whichever events they prefer to participate in.

The TDM Community:

• TDM provides active, ad-free, phpbb forums. There are almost always 20-40 people on the forums at a time.
• We have an active IRC room and Teamspeak server for our members to use. We also got an ingame Clan Chat!
• The forums, IRC room, and TS server are all kept as "family friendly." Members of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs can be sure they will not be made uncomfortable by the things said within our clan.
• Adults in our community (18+) will enjoy a special lounge where they can talk with fellow adults.
• Girls and women also have access to a secluded lounge on the forums to chat with one another.
• TDM prides itself in having a fabulous community atmosphere... if you aren't a member, you don't know what you're missing!

• Our santa team consists of: Athena975, Caos Soilder, Christine134, Milkboy31 and Skaterz boi1.
• All four of our admins in TDM are adults, two are Player Moderators.
• The clan was founded in November 2004, making TDM over 4 years old.
• TDM posts a bi-weekly newsletter to keep clan members informed of all the clan happenings.
• We have a variety of councils, and members are able to apply for these job positions.

Requirements for Membership:

• Natural 85+ Combat (f2p, without the aid of summoning) with 900+ Total Level.
• Be active on the forums, visiting & posting often.
• Attend 2 events (pk or non-pk) each month.
• Follow all Jagex & clan rules, including specific rules set for specific events.
• Have a good attitude and have fun!

Just a quick note.

Applications will be closing for 1 week beginning on Wednesday evening 23 May 2007 at 7pm EST. Any applications posted before that time will be processed as usual.

If you have a friend that is considering joining us, might want to let them know they can either join now or wait until our applications are opened again.

This closure is to allow our newer members to settle in and to give our mentors time to catch up with all the new monkeighs. It will also give our newest council a chance to evaluate their system and make improvements.

Righto. thanks for the update I was slightly worried, may I ask why? My friends in the monkeighs don't really know.

Row, it's because Adam doesn't feel like he can commit the time to being an admin, and Shock has been rather inactive since she had her baby. Christine and Billy were the best choices to fill their places.

And I present to you more changes. These ones are pretty big!

First, keep in mind that ALL combat requirements mentioned are based off of F2P levels (i.e. without summoning).

We've lowered our combat requirement to 85+. We were 95+ because the previous Bounty Hunter's high level crater could only be accessed by 95+ combat, and we wanted ALL of our members to be able to PK with us. However, there have been many changes to the PKing system over this past year, and we feel that lowering our requirement to 85 was in the best interest. There is no longer a minimum combat level required to PK/War with the entire clan, so by returning to our original combat requirement, we'll hopefully be able to bring in more members. Keep in mind that we still require a total level of at least 900 in addition to the 85 combat requirement.

IN ADDITION, our war list will be prominently advertised throughout the fansites. The requirements to join our war list are 100+ combat, and you have to have been in the clan for at least ONE WEEK. We have a new Future Applicant process called our Monkeigh Applicant process. It requires the applicant to attend 3 events within their 3 week MA period. After the first week of this process, they will be allowed to join the war list.
