Ok, heres what i did,
1. took cool screenshot of me
2. took another of me from diff angle
3. took photo of my house
4. coloured around 1st screenshot of me so only me left
5. pasted onto photo of house
6. coloured in around pasted bit to make it look real
7. took a square out of that and pasted ontop of 2nd screenshot (took forever to get it the right size)
8. made smaller and.... done!


overall it took about 1-2 hours

rate me from 1-10

*cough* copycat, only I'm allowed to give people the blow by blow of an alt

Anyhow.
8/10 for the idea, I'm sorry to say 4/10 for the actual fake... But I will give advice if your willing to take it

1. Always, and I mean ALWAYS save as .png it looks horrible in just about all the others.
2. You, at least, tried to correct your white spot. But ill tell you very easily, when you click 'crop' there are two boxes. Uncheck the default one, it gets rid of all the white.
3. Runescape maps are made out of white lines with the occasional amount of text/colour, remember, by editing your trying to make it look like it was made by JaGex
4. If you chat box is unrelated, remove it
5. If your doing a real life edit [(which I personally dont like) (sorry)] try to make it like, funny? Outherwise it's slightly pointless.
6. Try again smaller, and post it anyway, even if it's a chatbox fake, or an 'options' box fake, they will build up your confidence and educate you.

dude, paint is from microsoft! apart from that, it has lots of good functionalities... cant imagine a good alternative, ever! fast, and quite handy, but for genuine hardcore design, photoshop ftw! unless u like drawing gradients


Anyways, not a bad one for a first try!
the real life picture render looks sort of... weird, wouldnt be my choice, and i dont see how the map fits, in general a nice try! the cutout (render) of your character seems to have worked out too!

be sure to keep practicing, but for a first time, well done! 8/10

nice for first but it is really blurry. and the mini map has a bad color and different side of the sidewalk.
