ok so, im gunna do desert treasure on my pure,

and my friend says you dont need to do priest in peril, as you can catch the charter boat to port phasmatys and walk around.

but i seem to think you still need to do priest in peril to be able to even start the quest.

who is right??

Yes as you need to get into Mortania to get a diamond and there is NO other way in other than that quest.
