I need a little help on my homework about WJ Bryan, one of the people from the reformation during the industrial revolution era. Well, some sources say that he was in the scopes trial and the silverite movement. And I'm hoping if someone could tell me about what they are.

Well, if you still need help -
Scopes Trial: basically the question was whether to allow the teaching of evolution in public schools or not as opposed to the Creation theory (God created the Earth, etc). Bryan was on the side of the Creation Theory.
Silverite movement: the push for allowing silver to become legal tender - like gold was - in order to cause inflation which would make it easier for people like farmers to pay off debts. Bryan was for silver.
Bryan is most famous for his Cross of Gold speech, where he advocated silver.
