In the old version, there wasnt an Add X button, and people wanted that (my friends)

If enough people like this idea, ill send to Jagex

Its like staking in the duel arena, but without the fighting, and u get to act all professional...

Sadly after 1 whole year, only 9 people like bluemellow.gif
egalan7
could be a new minigame and with someworks in graphics i think will be nice.
war330
i like this new idea for a minigame

its original kinda yet a very good idea

itd gotta be f2p tho cuz not many p2p players may not kn ow how to play (too busy playing RS to learn how to play poker) heh.gif

You got to be joking right mellow.gif

Runescape is in MIDDLE AGES. How does poker comply with middle ages?
Spire
Runescape is in the middle ages, that is Gambling, i don't think Jagex intends to promote gambling and such.
(Or do they?)

Would be a gr8 idea! And a excuse to learn how to play poker :X.

Nuff said but I said I really dont care much...
7se7en7
staking is kinda like betting =/

but with fighting involved
Otter
I kinda like this idea. But the cards are no good, and you should be able to set the amount of money you can bet.

And for you Middle Age people, hot air baloons sure as hell weren't around in the Middle Ages.
junkdude101
i like this idea. ofcourse, its easier if they just use regular cards (the gems are too confusing)

rs is not in the middle ages, its a fantasy game that spans all time periods.

to think about all the instances of gambling already in the game:
barbarian assault: gamble for up to a dragon chain
staking

I posted this here, just to c if n e body liked it, and if i should send it to jagex, should i do that?

Probably not, with their psycotic quest to follow rules....

Otherwise I think it's a great idea, I love poker.
rocof
you know those annoying noobs? Those kids who have no idea about internet security and stuff?

They will be like "OMG DIZ IZ SO FUN!!!111!!" and then when they are older they go to rl casinos and bet everything they have and then it's the end...

I like the idea happy.gif but a minigame should involve the player's skill and intelligence while poker is mostly luck
7se7en7
i think ill send it to jagex, wats there email address?
Cmafai
Meh, there are 5000 other websites to play online poker on... it is completely unoriginal, putting another game into runescape. Make up a new sort of card game and it would be a better idea.
7se7en7
wats jagex's email address?
Overdoziz
dont think its a good idea that you can bet as much money as you want. its should be limit hold em. so like 1k max raise.
7se7en7
saiyng that is like saying staking in duel arena should have a limit

Edit: But now it does sleep.gif
Flamemaster
It should be limit, so you can only bet something around 1k. The cards could have pics of NPCs on them or something, instead of the gems, because they're kind of confusing too.

For those of you Middle Ages people, a lot of stuff in RuneScape wasn't in the Middle Ages in the first place (hot air balloons, gliders, etc.) RuneScape isn't even in the Middle Ages, like some people said. It's in its own fantasy period of time that covers multiple ages.

And for the "gambling" people, there's already lots of gambling in RS (staking, Barbarian Assault gambling, etc.) as some people said too.

Overall, with some graphic fixes, I think there could be a pretty good idea here.
jaster51
i think it will b alsome
7se7en7
Kinda reviving this abit, but...does anyone know jagex's email address
I really want to send this in. I think its been like a year

woot i found my old accounts

Sounds very cool, but Jagex would instantly add up the trading limits, just as staking and merchanting.
Would me just ruined if added, that's it dry.gif

or gnome copters....

it is a good idea but would never fly because some people are too good at poker for their own good and would become completley rich off beating the pants off of people just by playing cards, and runescape is not about getting rich easily.

Care to explain why you're bumping your 1 1/2 year old topic?

Is there a point?
7se7en
