The point of MSSW is to get the biggest fan sites together and have a big war. To really find out about you need to come and see what all happens.

Nice! Another steel war already! I missed the last one so I'll definitly going to make it this time. 2 in the afternoon may be a little tough for me to get on.

As long as work and my classes allow, I will obviously be there.

Last year we were easily the most organized, I anticipate an even better showing this year.

LAst year's was my first (and only) pking experience and it was a blast...Great to see how well we were organised and I'm certain that with a few more warriors we'd be unbeatable....It was purely down to numbers that we didn't win last year...

If everyone starts stocking up now and spreading the word we can humiliate the hoards of rabble from the other sites..

I believe I will be able to come this year, although I do have an arrangement to go up North with some friends for awhile in the holidays, unsure whether that conflicts with the dates of this... Hope not.

Should be another fantastic war, we had the leaders and organization to do very well, but hopefully with some more numbers we can improve even more!

Equipment & Donations.

Ideally we would have everyone wearing:

-Power or Str Ammy
-Rune Weapon (Only Scims, B-Axes & 2H's)
-Steel Full
-Orange Cape
-Full Inv of Food.
-(1 or 2) Str Pots
-Fighting/Fancy Boots
-Green Dragonhide Vambraces



Obviously swordies are better than lobs so if you got some that works.

However we appreciate that not everyone is going to want to spend the 20 mins it would take to track all this junk down so apart from your weapon & ammy we will try to have a stock of supplys ready for those who don't have what is needed.

We will be organising the distribution of all the capes, lobs + steel sets etc that have been donated so basically just be on around 30mins ish before the event if you're going to need stuff. Finite times and locations will be put up closer to the event.

If you can, and want to, help out as a supplier please post up what you are willing to make/bring etc. so we can get a rough idea of how much we've got to offer.

We will be here 1 HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT.
Primary Meeting Place: The Falador Barber Shop will be where we will distribute:
-Lobs
-Steel Sets
-Str Pots
-Capes
-Str Ammys

Also if you aren't sure how to make your own way to the Black Knight's Castle meet here and you will have plenty of company to walk up with.



We will be here 20 Minutes BEFORE THE EVENT.
Final Meeting Place: This is the last place we will be gathering at before the walk into the Wilderness. If you're super organised the easiest thing to do would be to have yourself in full gear with the correct Inventory waiting at this location an hour or so before the event, that way when it's time you can just log on and you're ready to go. If you don't have all the supply's you need meet at the first meeting place before-hand.

Tactics

I just want to recap on some steel war tactics and such before the war begins. These will all be explained real briefly while we are walking up to the war area but I feel it’s probably wise to type this up now as well.

While walking up to the war area…

While we’re walking up to the war area, you’re to fall in on the leader at all times. If we walk through another team, we don’t attack them as all of the action should only stay within the war area, by leaving the fall in you’re abandoning the team and ultimately won't do us good. I also want to make sure that past level 30 Wilderness, we’re going to be silent so I can run-over some tactics and rules again, however before level 30 Wilderness you’re allowed to talk normally.

Home Base

When we get to the Wilderness ruins keep silent and organised. Remember that the key to winning this thing is organisation.

In case you get lost or seperated or confused we will use the Lower East Corner as our home base.



In the war area…

When we attack someone, we will only attack one person at a time – This ensures swift and single KO piles and good organisation. If everyone decides to go and do their own thing then it will destroy our organisation and we won’t get too far. When we are piling someone (By which I mean the entire team attacking one person) we will say “Rc XX” (XX will be the username of the person, e.g. Rc Joe).

If I die (More likely then not I will be KO'd on the spot first because I'm leading the group) then you will have to adopt new leaders to start fall ins, these will probably be the generals who would help with keeping people organised as well.

Remember to spam hard, don’t stop typing “Rc XX” ever. By the end of this your keyboard should have taken a bashing. <3

The minute we have killed someone, I or another leader (Provided I’m not dead ) will step out of the pile and say “Fall in”, this means that everyone will then follow the fall in leader and we will find another target. If there isn’t a person to say fall in then it does kill our organisation. Swift transitions are important, the second we kill someone should also be in the same second that we have all fallen in on the leader to find another person and create another pile.

Tanking: If a pile has been called on you then immediately turn on Protect From Melee, +15 Defence and Protect Item (Provided you want to keep your Rune Scimmy). While you are tanking, eat like it’s the last day until you go on a hunger strike, your mouse should be getting exercise over how much food you’re clicking on – It prolongs the amount of time you’re alive which means it is doing Runecrypt good. You should also run around any obstacle nearby that is within the boundaries – Run around rocks, the walls of the war area and everywhere within the boundaries. This makes it harder for the opposing team to kill you, it also drains their energy which means they won’t be able to run much more.

And in summary:

Keep organised, stick with the Runecrypt team at all times.
Spam hard, don’t stop spamming “Rc XX”, spamming should be second-nature.
Quick transitions between kills, don’t loiter around or wait.
Always be alert and ready to tank it, you will be attacked at some point so be ready.
I recommend swordfish instead of lobsters; also bring a strength potion!

In terms of “tactics” we won’t be having tactics as they normally do more bad then they do good for the team. In any PKing clan (I myself am in the forth best F2P PK’ing clan currently), we win our wars with organisation and teamwork, separating into little teams and going out of our way to do special things will probably hurt us more then it will do good for us – Our main tactic is sticking together as a team and focusing on this together, not as individuals but as a team.

Remember - YOU WILL GET SKULLED.

Stick Protect Item on Before you Die to save your Weapon....

Also make sure you haven't got 13k of addy arrows in your arrow slot.
