yeh, battling is really fun. they have got some awesome songs there, through the fire and flames beats jordan by a long shot.

The Metal by Tenacious D is my favorite song on there. I don't own it but I played at Best Buy.

I own it . Even Flow is one of the best on it.

The devil went down to Georgia is sooo hard .

I also liked raining blood, espically(sp) the "mosh" part (which is the hardest part of the song).

Nice game overall .

I love the game though I havent had much time to ply it unfortunantly.

Can't wait to get it, been practicing like mad on my GH2. Sad thing is the only counsle I could get it for would be wii.

Through fire and flames is the best songs on there that I've heard, now just hopefully I get $80 from somewhere.

Not to make fun of anyone one but I personally hate guitar hero, I think it is one of the stupidist ideas ever I meen why not just play a real guitar?? Atleast with a real one you can do something with your life. AGAIN, not flaming anyone, my personal opinion.

It's played for fun, plus real guitars are more expensive.

My favorite part is battling online. Pretty damn fun.

as was said, gutar hero is much cheaper and much easier on electricity bills.

its also different then a real guitar, no hammering, no bending, no plucks, no sliding, no pick, no playing with eyes closed, no amp to sit on, no drum to kick into amp while playing a flaming guitar...all the fun is taken out

the game/ideas for the game are awsome, thought the graphics weren't as good as i thought.

True guitar hero players will not claim that playing Guitar Hero is comparable to playing real guitar. Everyone should understand this by now. Most of the best guitar hero players play real guitar. I can name a few people who pwn at gh and real guitar.

Try not to go making statements about things you hardly know about.

You obviously made that up. I have been playing guitar for three years, and that's not the case. Now, if you don't play guitar, go out and enjoy guitar hero, but honestly, it's no fun for me ( mainly because I could just look up the tab :/).

Maybe it's just me, but they seem to make the wrong songs hard and easy. I can't think of an example atm, but they do Knights of Cydonia pretty well.

Trees, I think you got the wrong idea about my post. I said it wasn't comparable to real guitar because Crade is just like "Go play real guitar". I believe the makers really didn't want it to be like real guitar.

The reason I said it was just a video game is because a lot of people go on flaming about it. GH players will play it for recreation. I play the drums so I don't think that I am going to get good at real guitar.

You can always control the volume. Thats the reason I can't buy a Guitar.

Got it Wednesday tbh. Considering it's my first GH game I'm not too shabby. Beat my first Expert song today Working on 5-starring easy(Raining Blood left, which is surprisingly harder than the rest to 5-star...easy to lose your multiplier) and medium now. Can't get enough Face-offs either I win almost all of them Except one time I picked hard and the other person got easy and I couldn't keep my multiplier :#

Raining blood eats my soul away on hard.....

Got that, One, and the Joe battle till hard is done, but it will take a while until those get passed

57% through hard...I'm on Tier 5, with 'Rock You Like a Hurricane' left. My game is starting to scare me It froze earlier, and the next time I turned it on it had long loading times and skipped on the songs. Then, the guitar would randomly stop working but I unplugged and plugged my Wiimote back in and it's back to normal for now.

I just beat Samantha on Expert! I don't suck as much anymore, woot! Pretty easy song on expert, tbh, but still.

Easy: 42/42 all 5 star
Medium: 42/42 all 5 star
Hard: 42/42 ...maybe 10 non 5 star
Expert: 34/42 (stuck on 7th set at the moment) Must train finger to go into ultra speed in Knights of Macedonia.

I just played Raining Blood for 2 hours and got 3k off 5-star twice -.- Only one left to 5-star. Not exactly a fan of Slayer...only song I can't stand besides Take This Life.

I have to practice more. I'm only on like the seventh tier on hard. I don't think I could do expert yet; I don't want to try.

Although I'd highly suggest getting the GH3 Controller, as its the best out of all of them

It has increased weight so it actually feels less like a piece of plastic and more like a guitar (not really... but you get what I'm saying)

The buttons are smooter, as well as the whammy.

And the Start/Select Buttons are better so that you don't accidently pause/set off star power.

Can this also be the Guitar Hero 3/Rock Band thread ?

I was hoping to get the GH3 controler but I was to cheap to buy another one for multi-player, but now I can.

Finally beat Expert mode today; Lou is crazy on expert!

I'm practising TTFAF also, I can get the whole intro 100% with two handed tapping now.
I find it really stupid when people say this. THIS IS A FREAKING GAME. NOTHING MORE. LIKE PLAYING CALL OF DUTY OR SOMETHING.
Plus, this is LOTS easier than real guitar (I play both, extensively), and LOTS cheaper.

Oh man. I just downloaded the GH 3 demo off marketplace and played it with my controller, god it sucks to play with a controller but I'm having serious problems now, not enough money to buy it
Damn, seriously, I love this game.

I just beat the game on the Easy & Medium difficulties on the PS3. Hands down it has to be the better out of all 3 GH.
