Anyways, I don't think backstabbing another site is a good idea. Yes, they have more members than us and other sites, but teaming up on one site is unfair. I don't think it's right and I think we should continue fighting with our own sites like we have been.

RC was pretty powerfull last year, and if you feel like you can win without an alliance then its cool



I brought up this issue with RSC before i made this post (you can find the topic in their events discussion forum) and they encouraged it, since they won by so many people last year they figure'd it would be more fun for both teams cause their isnt much fun in winning by a landslide



in a twisted sence i guess you cuold view it as allying with RSC (since the enemy of your enemy is your friend), but using that logic it also could mean your allying with us. So i dont think many people will view it that way. Also strategically you may be able to manipulate this alliance to your advantage so, so yea like you said all of it is in good fun so whatever you do is cool

lol, no if you don't agree to the treaty you will be treated the same as RSC. When the time comes closer to the war i will even edit the topic to say "Red or [X Color]" so that their arnt any confusions.

RSC cheats anyway, so they shouldn't be allowed to win anyway.

I don't think we should sign up officially, but just go as an independant site
if we are lucky it will be RSC vs REST and we can kill the ends..

dunno though, signing up might actually be smarter, if we kill RSC all together wich should be possible, than we can easely finish off the other sites

It seems like most of you guys are against joining this alliance, and if thats still the concensus in lets say 2 days i'll offically remove you guys. Also if you happen to get removed and change your mind later on then re-joining is alwase an option


that would work if you guys purposely showed up late (something that is alwase frowned apon in any war), but i think you guys will have less numbers if you fight RSC alone than if you fight with an alliance.

RSC won both wars by outstanding numbers, may aswell sign it, RSC might consider it more of a challenege fighting an alliance.

Why does the R in Runecrypt go to Runevillage

I'm happy for Runecrypt to take part in this event aslong as everyone knows its the people not the site in the event

2 days ago i made a post saying if the consensus was still against joining the alliance i would remove you guys. It seems like it has now become 50/50, and while that is quite high i don't believe it is high enough to justify adding you guys to the alliance without an official admin signature. So i have added a denied after your guys name and a special clause in the treaty.


If at any time you guys want to re-join the alliance an admin may do so by simply posting that you want to re-join on this topic. Also if i feel the consensus of people in favor of the alliance becomes significantly higher than those against the alliance i will re-add you without an admin signature (but only after making a post to make sure)

I think we should ask RSC if they'd actually accept the challenge. If they don't I guess this would be considered cheating. And even if they do cheat, then we just have keep on pushing till we kick their ----es.

I'm pretty much 50/50 because if RSC want it we'll give and vice-versa.

i wish more people would of replied, but the ones that did encouraged the alliance. Also the war rules do not state anything against alliances, i remember that in the last MSSW you guys were considering an alliance with sals (or it was the other way around) but it just never got around to being posted. So alliances are allowed, even an alliance on this scale.

I don't think Runecrypt member should be left out in the dry.

After reading the topic that RSC answered on. It seems that they'll come back to war after they as mages and warriors in rune. And they're encouraging the fact that we should have an amoeba alliance thing.

I really think we should join. They're way to confident.

That's it. The majority of us want to join the alliance, put the "Accepted" behind our name.

sorry Lamborgini8, while i agree their is quite a bit of support for re-joining i'd really like an admin on RC to make the final word since i went on cencensus on another site and they got pretty angry

Admins/Staff should have no say in the matter. This isn't an official RC event, so we let our members decide. Its up to them to come to an agreement. I still say I don't want to join the alliance, but my vote shouldn't count any more than other members.

As far as I am concerned, we should be not talking about this, but preparing! Lets try to get some clans to join our side, because you know RSC will have clans fighting for them.

Thats kinda the mentality i got a week or so after posting the party, well that and i realized that the odds of an admin posting were pretty slim since it would be a fairly contravercial decision. So if its alright with you guys i will work off off a concensus. Just working off of the posts that have been made so far it looks like the tally is like so

No alliance for me.... I'd much rather work on tactics and improve on last years organisation.

If other sites/individuals desire to assist us, that's fine, but we don't need to assist others....

I really think Crypt should have accepted this.

Runescape Community has won the last two years and it really would have been good that we had accepted this. All we have done by declining this rule is made it into this...

Runescape Community verse Tip It verse Rune HQ + RuneVillage + Sals + Bits & Bytes verse us. RSC and Tip It are the most powerful two, and the alliance are equallly as powerful perhaps, all we have done by declining this has given us a significant disadvantage as we are now going in as the underdog, more so then we have in the last two years. By declining this, it means that we are a target by the alliance as well as Tip It and RSC.

All this alliance does is ensure that we all kill Runescape Community first. Lat year Runescape Community dominated the entire battlefield, and I made sure that we tried to clear most Runescape Community. Last year people said that without RS Community, Crypt would have probably won. I think that had we have allied ourselves with the alliance we would have had a huge shot at winning the steel war.

Oh well, we will try our best though.

On another note though, seems RSC people are in favour of us declining the treaty:
