The markets can sometimes be a confusing place. With so many people buying and selling, it can be hard to find exactly what you want. This is where the search feature can come into its own. Don't assume that this only coveres buyers, because if you do things right as a seller, it can help your topic become the top of the list.

Selling
You want to sell your items? Not sure if people can find you? Your best bet is to use a snappy and easily recognisable title, such as "Selling: XXX" Where XXX is your product. his way, people will know exactly what is is you have for sale and choose to view your thread if they are interested. You could also include the price such as "Selling: XXX for XX Each", for Example "Selling: 100 Rubies for 1,500 each" this way viewers will get all the information they need in a single glance.

Sometimes the forums can get a little crowded, the best thing that buyers can do is to searh for an item. To help them find exactly what the want, its best to include the name of the item(s) you are selling in both your title and topic. This way you have maximum chance of a buyer spotting your thread through a forum search.

Buying
If you want to buy an item, the first thing you should do is browse the forum for topics starting "Selling" as these will indicate that player wish to sell items. Should you find what your looking for, follow sellers instruction to buy/bid for the item. The next step should be to perform a search. To do this, simply click on "search" in the top right of the page and type in exactly what it is you wish to buy. Ensure that "The Crypt Exchange" is the selected forum and ckick search.

If no threads appear, you may post a "buying" thread. This is where you make a new thread with the title "Buying: XXXX" where XXXX is the item you wish to buy. If you wish, you could also include the price you're willing to pay, for example, "Buying: XXXX for 1,000gp Each" Buying: 100 Feather for 10gp Each" this will allow potential sellers to decide if they with to trade at a glance.

Swapping
As with the previous example, swapping can be done with ease. You can either use the search functon (as explained in "Buying" or you can create a new post entitled "Swapping: XXXX for YYYY (And/Or ZZZZ)" Where XXXX is what you have to swap, YYYY is what you want for it and ZZZZ is another item you also want. For example: "Swapping 1,000 Yew Longs for 1,000 Yew Logs AND 1,000 Bowstings." This will alert potential traders that they can swap such items and thus gain you credible views.
