Nice! I will try to post a result later, but Photoshop has been acting slow lately, so maybe tomorrow.

It didn't work. Directions were very vague, it should tell when to switch layers to do a certain step, or when to create a new one.
Meh. My result:
Would be a pretty cool effect but one of the earlier steps deleted the color. Thought I should keep going with it to see if it resolved itself.

He says "New Layer" and Gradient Map and stuff many times. I mean, if you use a Gradient Map it automatically creates a new layer. He wasn't vague at all, your just new to Photoshop.
Btw, it didn't look like you followed it at all...

Every step is a new layer. I thought that was fairly obvious. And each layer is set to normal on 100% opacity, unless the tutorial says something else.
