I was thinking, why not make a subforum for birthdays in the general chat forum? It would help clean up the forums and I doubt it would be empty, since most people who are active here have birthdays every day usually.

This has been brought up before in the staff room, but the idea was dismissed. Its really not hurting general chat to have them there, and it brings about more of a community aspect when you have them right out in the open rather then hiding them in a sub forum.

Using that logic we'd have to give Plant his own sub-forum

Agreed. Birthday threads will continue as they are. They're aren't enough to spam up the general chat forum, so it's just fine.
