Full Version: New Quest Idea

I was thinking there could be a new quest called "Forces of the World", or someother name that i cant think of at the moment. anyway, at the end of the quest you would have to kill 1 of the 3 "Holders of the Force"(no Starwars comments please), and get their remains. then you bring them to this person and get it turned into 1 of 2 weapons or a piece of armour. then you can keep going back to the "Holders of the Forces" and keep getting their remains and having them turned into weapons or armour. Please send some feedback or help improve this idea happy.gif

This was a very hard idea to follow, though I think you should have to kill all the force holders instead on just one of them. *shuts mouth when i think of starwars* I think the ideas have to be origional though, not similar to a movie or show.

It's a start.
Otter
That's not a quest. Thats a new monster.

the monster is a boss at the end of the quest, which you can access after the quest
Otter
A quest has a storyline. You've only said you have to go kill some monsters and make a weapon out of their drops. Thats not a quest, thats making a new monster or two.

Oh, THATs what you meant, ill have to think of the storyline then heh.gif
RSK
needs alot more detail, what else do you do in the quest? how good is the armour or weapon? what makes the armour/weapon unique? will it be hard to complete?
bling_masta8
for ideas on how NOT to suggest quests look up ninjasafe's... lmao.gif

i think u need more than just wat happens in the end... mellow.gif and needs to b original, not a copy on/similar to a movie

ok, here is the storyline and the requirements and all that stuff

Requirements:

90:agility, range, or strength

200 questpoints (yes, im very serious about this)

Being able to use ancient magic teleport to canifis would speed this quest up

Must be able to kill a level 467 Holder of the Force

Dificulty: Extremely hard

Quests:

Priest in Peril

start location:

Talk to the Outcast Wizard wandering around in the Morytania swamps

Storyline:

A wizard found out about a place hidden in Runescape that held the 3 "Forces of the World", although some may not seen like forces, but they still play an important role in the world. The forces are Animals, Plants, and weather. The wizard told all of his collegues about his amazing discovery, but no-one would believe him. He was shunned from the rest of the wizards, so now he wanders aimlessly in the swamps of Morytania. When you meet him, he asks if you ever heard of this, he figures that you wouldn't know no matterwhat you say, and he asks for your help to prove this to everyone else, so he sends you on a quest for all of these materials to open the portal to the "Forces of he World". After you collect the materials, he will open the portal for you, but he wants you to actually bring the remains of one of the "Holders of the Force" to him! He warns you of their immense power, and will want you to prepare yourself very well before this battle. Depending on which route you take (after entering the portal), depends on what "Holder of the Force" you will fight. If you take the strength route, you will fight Holder of the Force, ANIM, who uses melee and strikes quickly with attacks that can hit in the high 30s. If you take the range route, you will fight Holder of the Force STOR, who uses range and attacks quite slow, but hits on the high 40s. If you take the agility route, you will fight Holder of the Force VINE, who uses magic attacks that are mid speed. Be careful, the attacks can range anywhere from the low 20s to high 50s! After you kill one of the "Holders of the Force", you will get their remains, which are exactly what the Outcast Wizard wanted you to bring him. He will turn this into one of 2 weapons, or a piece of armour, but you get to choose! After getting the item, you will have completed the quest and get 7 quest points and access to the "Realm of the Force", where you can keep getting the remains of the "Holders of the Force", and getting them turned into weapons or armor. You need 80 attack for weapons, and 80 defense for the armor. I hope you like the quest!

Nice storyline but the whole idea with remains n stuff needs to be revised it reminds me of Barrows too much.

eh, barrows is a maze, Forces is a realm with very high level bosses hash.gif i do see the resemblence between the two though

The "Route" you take.. obviously there's going to be more than just an empty path way leading you to one of the Holders of Force tongue.gif. It even relates to God Wars in a distant way.

hmm... i see your point. by route, i mean a short path with an obstacle at the end you have to get past using a skill, quite similar to getting into different sections of godwars. OMG, u were right about the godwars relation ohmy.gif lol, i just noticed now u pointed it out tongue.gif

Quite good, just that the requirements of 200 Questpoints is EXTREMELY high.

Yes, i know, but quite a few people have that many, like lusik grey and otter. On a side note, I'm trying to draw the weapons/armour in paint pathetically in 2-D form. I only made the 'Storm Blade' in a mini form. Observe:

IPB Image

Its stats are:

+210 Slash,

+198 Crush

+212 Strength

The special is 'Storm Speed', which increases the speed to 2 seconds for every hit for 1 minute, and uses 100% of the special bar. also reduces the attack stats by 50%, and its normal speed is 8 seconds per hit, which is about twice as slow as a granite maul. Also needs 80 attack and strength to weild sleep.gif

See Roboskills, its immense power is why the quest requirements are so high. It's even stronger than the godsword, and there are still more weapons and armour to come. I hope you see my point smile.gif

Im not trying to bring this down, but a suggested quest will never be added if it only has 5 lines of description..

Hmm, one more thing to add, tradable or nontradable? If it would be tradable, it would considerably drop the price of any and all GS's. Other than that, that would be a cool quest to attempt to get the lvls to attempt to do biggrin.gif

lol, should have said this earlier. YES, they would be tradable. and forget what i said about the pixel drawings, i'd rather say things about the stuff first to releive the tension biggrin.gif
Prot
that's extremely overpowered. make it untradeable or it would kill what's left of the economy.

I agree with Prot, making it tradable would screw up the already screwed up economy. And also I'd make it hit faster than every 8 sec. No matter how much it would be worth, I'd never accept an item that hits so slow. tongue.gif

hmm...i see your point. It was supposed to be a HUGE sword that was supposed to be about...twice as long as a comp bow. It would be really heavy, and would be swinging it like an obsidian maul, and dragging it along at 50 km. but i guess it could be faster. probably at 5 or 6 seconds, which is twice as slow as obsidian maul. I'm still thinking.

BTW, here are new weps biggrin.gif

Spoiler - Grand Gale Bow:

IPB Image
Requirements: 80 range

range bonus: +187

ammo: any arrows up to dragon.

speed: longbow speed

distance:12 spaces

Special: Grand Gale Shot: Shoots 3 arrows at a time, each inflicting atleast 10 hits. Also knocks the opponent back 3 spaces. 70% special bar drain

Spoiler - Cheetah's Claws:

Requirements: 80 attack

bonuses: +89 stab, +85 slash

Speed: claw/dagger speed

Special: Cheetah Pounce: Leaps at the opponent and hits with 50% more accuracy and power. Can use up to 3 spaces away from opponent. 60% special bar drain
