I'm at a loss for some good ones to learn, and I'm gonna need some good bass lines to make a band tryout.
any links to some sweet tabs would be apreciated
I've already got the entire Black Sabbath album Black Sabbath (including the Natural in Black intro) down.

If you want to develop some keen bass skills id suggest learning populor 90's rock songs such as nirvana, stone temple pilots, or whatever. They are often easy and sound great. You could also give some red hot chili pepper bass lines a go but lemme tell you flea has some mad skill.

oh god dont do this
that sort of Sage encourages stagnation in your playing and wont get you anywhere
Try alot of Rush's stuff if you want some nice complex challanging basslines.

Agreed with Tyranno (especially on the nirvana stuff....)
Red Hot Chili Peppers. Flea is sick.

Lol Kal, this was 4 months ago.
If by 4 months you actually mean 15, you're completely correct Kevin.
