Giving up this debate, I bet every single one of you would want skill capes for F2P if you worked hard in F2P and got nothing.

But members pay for the things. So thats why they get them, F2P is exactly what it is. FREE to PLAY, your not paying them to play (P2P).

I don't play anymore, so it doesn't matter LOL.

I know you pay for members, and you get benefits. But the idea of a skill cape is for hitting level 99 not for being a member.

Which alot of people still don't understand.

But the skillcape is for members only because they have those extra benifits, and the locations of where to get skill capes are usually remote to the F2P area. See the point yet?

They are only like that because jagex made it like that, I have yet to see a valid point into why it shouldn't be out for F2P. We all hit level 99 in a skill? So we should all have the same reward, infact I think reward enouggh is being able to level x3 as quick in any skill as a F2P player.

According to you, we should basically hand out free P2P to all players with single parents.

I bet if you search long enough, you'll find dozens of other things F2P could have just as much right as P2P to get. But it's just that, they don't have the right, as they don't pay.

F2P can use combat, that doesn't mean Jagex should give F2P all available armors and weapons.

I never said free membership, I just don't like it when people tell me to get membership when I would rather spend it on other things. When was a skill cape ever a benefit of members? What makes you so special over a F2P member who has probably worked double as hard to get that 99.

If you read my previous posts, I would still like you to find me a valid reason why it shouldn't be for F2P. I am not asking for castle wars or access to all areas of members, as I do know it is a business and it attracts more people to pay for membership, but a skill cape is supposed to be rewarded for the accomplishment of achieving level 99 NOT FOR BEING A MEMBER.

It is not like the skill cape is the only thing which makes you a member. If a skill cape went to F2P aswell, I bet everyone will keep their membership as the skill cape is one of the lowest factors which attracts people to membership.

Skill capes are still one of the factors which attracts f2p to become p2p. So regardless of how important it is, it is still an incentive for f2p to become p2p which is what jagex wants. A skill cape is a reward for an accomplishment WHILE you are a member. Those to go together.

It's your choice not to pay for membership, so you are not entitled to its benefits.



When the Achievement capes came out, they were a benefit. They've been a benefit since day 1 of that update.



Members pay. That's what's so special. It doesn't matter how you get to 99. You can do it an easy way or a hard way, it's still an accomplishment of getting to 99. The high scores don't say, "99, but he paid for all his materials." Getting 99 is a great accomplishment, which I notice that you are no where near achieving. If you'd like some recognition for it, get a skill cape in members'. If you'd rather spend your money on something else, then you'll just have to enjoy it on your stat page when and if you get there



Do we look like Jagex? Why do we have to give you a "valid reason?" Why does Jagex have to give you a "valid reason?" It's their game, they make the rules. They made it members only, end of story.

Edit: If I was F2P and I got 99 in a skill, I would NOT want a skill cape because I'm F2P. If I wanted the cape, I would get members because that is a member benefit. I would be happy to play for free and accept the game as Jagex presents it.

Why do you think the high scores were made Rhyer? Skillcapes are just ingame objects that let you know that someone has that 99 stat. It has some other bonuses and an emote, but thats it! not incredibly special.

Topic's already just getting to the inevitable point of people who pay saying "just pay to play" and you saying "I don't want to".
