To be honest, before anyone dares post this, I know Jagex normally wouldn't add something in because of something the players are doing.

Basically, today after getting 71 Kalphites as my slayer task, I got myself equipped and went out to the Kalphites. Upon arrival, I saw a lvl 133 cannoning. I see that all the time, so I world hopped. Next world was, yet another person cannoning. He politely asked if I could hop so I did. Another world (less populated, about 600 odd people) it was empty for a while. Kept on killing about 15 Kalphites until a lvl 129 walked in and kept on waiting for me to attack a Kalphite to steal my kill. I asked if he could leave, but he replied "no u jump wrlds nub". I hopped for the last time into another less populated world. Yet again, it was empty. Someone came to set up a cannon but left after they saw I was slowly killing them. Then...

This person in full Guthans comes along, slaughters pretty much a Kalphite every 15 secs. Starts killing mine and keeps on laughing at me.



The solution?

We really should get a single-way Kalphite area, since Kalphites is such a common task (to me), it would be better for people who don't want to be cannon or for people to have kills stolen off them to slay some Kalphites.

maybe you should just change ur assignment if u can't handle it, go to the slayer master in Burthope... i didn't have any problems of any sort every time i've been there, maybe things have changed since i was last there, no idea

The thing is, I could handle it (and I did, luckly no one else came along for a while in my next world). But the fact remains is, is that either Kalphites could be added to a new slayer cave or create a new single-combat area for them so doing the task could be done without griefing.

Clearly something is wrong. I kill kalphites as well and Ill on occasion see cannoners and sometimes people taking kill which can get a little annoying, but you just have to deal with it. On average I'll only have to hop 1-2 times before I get an open world or one with just 1 person there.

My suggestion: be patient. Cannons were made for a purpose. It's costly, but you get kills. Maybe what you need to do is buy a cannon yourself.

Maybe you should just buy a cannon of your own, would probably solve the problem.

To be quite honest, I really can't be bothered to go back to money making just to get a cannon and cannonballs. I know that they were all went for a reason, but I was thinking it could be better making a single-way version of Kalphites, and some of the other multi-way slayer task monsters. It'd save a lot of griefing.

You buying a cannon saves JaGeX alot of not needed updating.

But, to be honest, that's 700k+ not well spent in my opinion, since I do slayer on and off. I'd pretty much rather use that money to save up then to buy my way into griefing people.
