So, yeah -- this game looks promising. I am going to be playing it when it comes out (release date may 20th 2008).

I loved the Conan movie, but doubt I will be playing this.

pfft, i don't really like that ancient stuff.. i like it when it's like really non-realistic and stuff like Guildwars and this seems quite similar...

anyways, i might have time this summer to explore new games... so maybe

I believe it is regularly $15 a month and is a little cheaper whether you pay for three months or six months as well.

Eh, all humans, but I like the amount of classes. I doubt I'll be getting this, they won't even show the interface (if it's like guildwars I'm def not buying, I hate like only 4 action buttons and a huge --- map). Also I'm not really into this stuff, IMO go full fantasy or don't go fantasy at all.*

It is based around the universe of Conan so they have lore to stick too.

Also, search YouTube for any videos of the game. I love the character creation.

Wow man you did some great research there. Guild Wars has 8 action buttons btw, not 4.

Idc about the exact number, it's just so limited compared to...pretty much any other MMO.

It's not about the limitations, it's about what you can do within them. As long as your used to it, it works well enough. I sometimes had a hard time managing my build in GW with only 8 skills, so I'd probably die trying to play WoW, which has like, I have no idea how many skill slots.

Anyway, not gonna play it, not interested im games with montly fees, especially not if the fee is that high.

Lets get back to the topic.

Well i got the game last week and I haven't been on Runescape since. The game is awesome so far! I love it, it's not just click and the rest is automated either. The game involves actual interaction. I want to get a mount and go attack people with it since fighting on mounts is possible, and I want to destroy some guilds fortifications with a rhino. Yea. The guild I'm in has already been building a stronghold.

Got the game last week; played it, love it. I've been playing minimal ammounts of time though; mainly because I spend so much time on TF2 and the rest on revision.

The game also has a lot of bugs; but so do all MMOs and thankfully they've managed to clear up most of them so far.

Currently playing a Level 18 Dark Templar on Crom EU.

Funny thing about this game is when I built my computer I didn't change out my power supply but that was alright because the games I had already didn't really take my graphics card to the limits. Well I have a 500watt power supply and my graphics card takes up to 400watts... when I play age of conan my power supply becomes exceeded so my computer just shuts itself off.
(And if your having trouble figuring out where the other 100 watts are coming from just consider my other hardware, I didn't at first.)

I need to buy a bigger power supply to play this awsome game. Only if I got paid 1000 bucks every times I inhale air. I'd be uber rich and could afford new parts all the time.

I mean the first vid just reminds me of runescape...only with better graphics. They're just standing there whacking each other till someone dies...

No they're not, if you would look better you would see that they are actually using skills. But because they are warriors, it's just not looking that impressive.

Notice how in the first vid they're level 20? Thats the equivalent of 1-10 in WoW, and hmm what do warriors in WoW do at that level? Whack eachother till someone dies.

Age of Conan has years or story behind it and it's not filtered for little kids ears either. I read all the quest scripture and it's very intresting! I like that I control avery attack plus get new combos every level and that I can cleave peoples heads clean off..
