Normally I try to have at least 1 mil in my bank, as reserve money, you know. Just in case.

Now, however, I used it all to buy a full guthix set (which, btw, is awesome.) Then, to try out my new guthix set, I wandered into the wild to see what I could find. What I found was three revenants in high-level wilderness, 2 lvl 135's and a level 105. Needless to say, I was back in Lumbdrige pretty soon, missing my Guthix legs.

I rushed to the bank, teleported to Varrock, and sold my remaining Guthix armor on the GE to make up some of the money I lost. I have the best f2p gravestone possible, so I knew I had enough time. Making sure to take no armor with me, I ran out to reclaim my stuff.

When I reached my grave, my stuff was still there! So I ran over to take it, but before I could, something froze me in place. I looked around and saw that those damn 2 lvl 135 Rev Dragons were still there.

Back to Lum. I set out again, but without high hopes, knowing that my grave had probably disappeared by then. I glanced at my inventory and saw something I couldn't belive.

When I sold the remainder of my armor on the GE, I forgot to put the money in the bank! After my second death in 5 minutes, all I had left was a couple gp!

That, my friends, is the sad tale of how I turned from a millionare into a broke slob in the course of 10 minutes. Let it serve as a grim reminder that there are still many dangers in the Wilderness.

Renevants are dirty bastards, they almost got me a couple times while doing clues and RCing. I'm sorry to hear about you losing that much.

What we learn from this, never buy TT armor, its useless and losses you money.

In fact, i bought full zamorak like years ago. Back then it was like 3m a pop, then i traded it for full sara + 200K, and then i sold the lot for like 2.3m... so basically i lost 1 m for them as well.

The fact that you went into wildy with your TT armour serves you right although other people can't kill you doesn't mean jagex didn't make it tough.

I tried that game and it was horrible. It froze, logged me out, froze, logged me out, froze, logged me out and so on and so on.

Anyways, I've lost alot of stuff to scammers hackers and randoms, I took some time, made it up and forgot about it. FInd a skill you like, or something in Real life you like to do, to get your mind off it.

So you really didn't expect to die? Well, that's just plain dumb in my opinion.

I think this happened to me before. I was a lvl 41 at that time. I saved up the right amount of money to get addy (t) set. I got it and got 40 atk. From there, i thought i was strong enough to pk. But some pure lured me in too far and i got pked. Lost everything which sucked. Just goes to show you, NEVER, IN ANY CIRCUMSTNACES SHOULD YOU BRING RARES IN THE WILDY. But dont worry, I also lost 350k+ in aviansies. Its real easy to get the money you lost back.

This is more a warning than a rant. There was never a time where you should bring rares to the wild.
