Full Version: Bounty Hunter Levels

as i lay dying
Well, lately I've been reading a lot of people's suggestions; mainly the ones asking for the old wild back, on specific worlds, with only combat-related items allowed. This won't work, as RWT will be much easier, because of the huge space allowed for kills, as well as no penalty. Here's my solution.

Introduction:

Bounty Hunter has many things which PKers might not approve of, but are necessary. One is the Pick-Up penalty: yes, it is annoying, and when I go BHing I really hate it, but it makes sense. However, one thing Bounty Hunter lacks is Levels.

My Idea:

Add levels to Bounty Hunter, similar to the Wilderness Levels in the old Wilderness. Right now, the Level 40-50s own the Low crater, the level 90s control the Mid Crater, and the 120s rule the High-Crater, although I have seen some good level 100s take down the 120s. The levels would start from 5 at the edge, to around 30 at the center. This still makes RWT hard, as if a Level 10 kills a Level 3 autoer, the Level 10 still has to survive for 3 minutes against level 20s, possibly.

This way, the level 60-70 pures won't suffer as much. Many of you PKers at the top of the "BH Food-Chain" might complain, but I don't really believe it affects you all that much.

Thank you for reading!

Totally Buff
This won't work. Any change to make "fair" fights will help RWT. In any given area, everyone must be able to attack anyone. It's easy for RWT'ers to make specific trade accounts that match up with their potential customers' combat levels to conduct their trade, and it will be hard to have pkers at that level to discourage the trade at all times of the day.

The fact is that pkers want the freedom to select their own targets, pick up their stuff when they die, and exit safely, and RWTers want the exact same thing. This type of combat system is not coming back.
