I'm an avid Zelda fan, and now I'm finally able to start to think about getting Twilight Princess (don't ask), but I only have a GameCube, so I was wondering if there are any noticeable differences between the GameCube and the Wii versions of the game. In other words, should I wait till I get a Wii, which could be a long time, or just get the GameCube version? Thanks.

When i tried the wii version in a gamestop, I kind of think I borderline Epic Failed in front of a group of like 7 people so.
Then i tried the Gamecube version and it was alot easier, less motion required and all. I'd say do the wii if you like acting like your favorite character otherwise Gamecube should be fine.
Although aside from the control differences I have no clue if anything in the game is different, aside from how many things you can have asigned to a quick weapon slot (like 4 in wii and 2 in gamecube so, controller differences)

Only thing I know is that TP on the GC is good enough

No clue about the Wii, but the controls should be interesting.

Link, I just remembered, Wii has a Right handed Link, Camecube has a Left Handed Link, since the controller is held in one hand and swung so, they had to change what hand he was using.
