What: Multi Fan Site Steel War
When: October 18, 7pm GMT
Where: WORLD 61 - Clan Wars - Free for all Dangerous Portal
Who: You and your friends, Dupree too.
Why: Because we need you.

These are the event start times. If you come on at this time you're more than likely going to be too late for the event so please make sure you're on 30 mins - 1 hour before. Add a participating RC staff member to your friends list and we'll help you get set up and to where you need to be on time.

• 8pm GMT (Winner of Rc/Sal's vs Rv/Rhq vs tip.it-rsc winner)

Remember, each tournament is an hour after the previous.

Equipment

Ideally we would have everyone wearing:

-Power or Strength Amulet
-Rune Weapon (Only Scimitars, Battle-Axes and Two-handers)
-Full Steel (or Iron) Armour.
-Orange Cape
-Full Inventory of Food (lobsters or swordfish recommended)
-(1 or 2) Strength Potions
-Fighting/Fancy Boots
-Green Dragonhide Vambraces

An Appropriate inventory and equiptment.

*Due to the trade limit, Jagex placed in Runescape, donations (as far as I am aware) are not available this year*

They have 65 members, and I don't expect all of them to attend.

Sadath brought up a good point, why don't we use Wilderness capes?

I think we should use Team 6 capes (the first one, too lazy to crop )

The seller is the easiest to get to, not being in the wilderness.

Being ~100-200 gp market price, I could get some to distribute at the event.

@Spiah Good idea, I could probobally hand some for free closer to the date. Also if Chuck is willing if you guys have extra rune bars(2 minumum) we could use chuck's 99 smithing assist to make rune scimitars and stuff.

@Bliz since you're active in IRC and all you other active IRC guys, why not post a reminder when you first join for this? I think it'd bring in 10-15 people who might forget.

Spire, before we do Team Capes, make sure you ask Dustin first. If we don't, people may accuse of of cheating for some reason, so we need confirmation from him since he is in charge of the war.

I may have some friends i convinced to come some old pkers so i hope they can come :S

Anyone else want to be General/Leader?

Ok, so I hear a lot of talk about getting lots of different people from completely different clans.

I know it sounds absurd, but I say that we each bring a few friends but there isn't a need for a whole clan that has never even heard of runecrypt. This is a fansite vs fansite competition isn't it? I say we do this for the fun of it and throw out the whole idea of recruiting clans for our war.

Regardless of what I said earlier, I highly agree with Chuck.
Let's do it for the fun of it, but I'd love to see us do good this year also.

Quick! Add "Arizona" in the America time zones. Since we don't observe DST we're at 11 AM.

Mssw4 is postponed until further notice, but I think we should still plan, even if it's months away. Then we can be more than ready when the time comes.

Alright guys, it's a no from dustin. Because there's no wilderness capes in orange, so we'll use our usual old orange capes I'll collect some, because at the event we always have someone who forgot one, or can't get one in the G.E.

Well even though the date has been postponed keep on reqruiting. And don't bring whole clans to the war! Bring a few friends if you like but 10+ people per person will get out of hand.

Dustin didn't give the answer I was looking for, really he said "You can't change to a wilderness cape because it's not orange" But just about any other site can change their cape because there's a wilderness cape corrosponding to their team color.

Bling, you seem like you're decent for the job , as far as I'm aware, i'll put you up as a General. But i'll let Staff make the final decision.

And I need this cleared up: Is X Sam Sam X our leader again?

Anyone know if we're going to be using Teamspeak or anything? Because I know Zybez has a public vent which will probably be used, which will make them more organised. Anyway, On another note, I could probably be a general or a leader.

Note this Rampage, not everyone has or can use TeamSpeak. We could all possibly use our leader's clan chat, and if that's full, we could go to a general's clan chat as well to talk amongst ourselves. The generals and leader will more than likely talk to each other via private messaging and such, so if you are not in the leader's chat, a general could give you word of what the leader says to do and such if you are in a general's clan chat. That's probably a better way for communication in my honest opinion.

Rampage, I really don't think it's my responsibility to choose leaders, I'll leave that up to Asa (Being event forum leader) and the Rest of Crypt staff.

I think I should be leader. Not coming though, f2p and got all my cool awesome stuff on. But I still think I should be leader. I mean, I'm staff after all.

Maarten, It's hard to be leader when you're not coming
The leader usually leads us to Clan wars, gives us tactics etc.

But really, it's not my choice, I won't decide.
