About the new location
Throughout the day i have been checking out the new PVP update, and wow Jagex really did a good job on this one. So good that i am changing the location of the event to the classical fight location and changing the team meeting areas to various safe zones within the game. On top of this there will also be a new after-party that will take the place of the tourney, not sure what it will be but any ideas would be greatly appreciated



Random Statistics
Based on the numbers, it appears as if this will mainly be a war between Tip.it and Pure Community, however the graphs are missing a critical element and that is RSC. It is difficult to judge how many people will attend for them due to the deletion of the topic, however at least some clan support is likely. These numbers also don't include strategy topics, so really any site could prevail

Isn't this a bit risky, combat-level-wise? What I mean is, what if, say, RHQ fights Tip.it, and there's a massive battle, and at the end of it all Tip.it has only a very low-level still standing (don't ask me how) and RHQ has a high-level? I understand that the location's pretty far in the wilderness, but what if it still isn't enough?

For that matter, what if a Rev comes waltzing in?

And btw, I've given up on reaching level 80 due to my complete inability to focus on a goal for more than five minutes. On the plus side, I might bring a Corrupt Drag Scimmy!

Doesn't work. I typed in a password, and it said "Permission Denied" or "No" or something along those lines. But that's hardly surprising; AIM, MSN, IRC - they all hate me.

Dustin, I've noticed that a couple of fan sites' locations are close to each other. I was just wondering something. If by any possibility that a fan site leaving their safe spot in order to meet up in the Steel War destination to fight, if they encounter another site and that site attacks them before they get to the designated area, will that site be disqualified? Like for example, if two sites are located in Falador and one site is leaving for the war and they encounter another site leaving and the other site happens to attack them, are they going to get disqualified for attacking the site before even being in the "war zone" per say? Because if this does happen by any chance, I think this would be unfair and would also hurt a fan site's chance to even get to the destination in time while having less people to have fight for them at the same time. I hope you understand what I'm getting at.

You have a good eye, and yea there is a good chance that one site may cross paths on the way to the war with another, but i doubt that they will fight as this has happened before and it seems that 1 or both teams stop to allow more space. However just to be sure i'll add a rule to the rules section to remind people

Well, since it's in F2P, we won't have to worry about them teleblocking, freezing, etc., they will probably just attack like normal enemies. I think we'll just have to deal with them and hope they attack the opposing sites, lol.

Another thought: what about other players? PvP worlds are a relatively recent update, and as such are swarming with people waiting to try them out. Some of the spots, including RuneCrypt's, are in hot zones. What happens if other players attack us on our way to the battle?

Then that player who is being attacked should run towards a safe spot in order to try and protect themselves and then replenish on food to restore their respective hp level.

I have one question, if we are not going to use #Cryptirc, is there going to be someone in game using their clan chat so everyone else can get instructions on what to do? I for one don't even use Mirc or anything along those lines, so that's why I'm asking.

But meh, it was fun whilst it lasted, and I even stood up to a guy that had both combat advantage and armour advantage (rune full) AFTER the event. I lasted longer against him than I did against people in steel armour and green capes... If only I beat him...
