I've been put in charge of obtaining shirts for an indoor soccer team I'm going to play on in January, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a simple text design that could be silkscreened onto the shirts.

The text would be "Got money?" and it'd be awesome if you could work a "$" into the design. The shirts themselves are purple, and the team would like the design to be mostly gold colored. I'd appreciate it if anyone who decides to help out makes 2 or 3 designs, because I'd like to give my teammates a bit of variety when choosing.

I'd need the designs no later than mid-December, and I might need the same design with a different color for a keeper's shirt (I'm going to share it with someone else because we can't find a real keeper. However I'd need to talk to her first so thats not so important).

December 6th is our first tourney - I need the design if anyone is doing this by November 20th..

Thanks in advance smile.gif

I'm not giving a promise, but I might play around with some stuff If I ever get some time.
Do you prefer transparent backgrounds or a specific colour, how about the image size, and the text style?
Otter
Transparent backgrounds would be better. The size would be shirt size, like the chest area, and I can't really give you a precise size for that mellow.gif

It'd be awesome if the design's text style wouldn't be too fancy.. It should be easily readable

Thanks babe smile.gif

If your making a shirt you should make it about 2000x2000 with 200 resolution for maximum quality.

300 dpi, but yeah, he's right. Remember to use CMYK rather than RGB for the colours as well, as RGB is computer and CMYK is print.

It would if I was actually printing it straight from a computer - What I'm going to do is print of the logo and make it into a stencil for silk-screening or painting.

So should I do CYMK or RGB?

Are you going to be using something like CustomInk (www.customink.com) to get the shirts? I've used that site a couple times in the past and they're pretty good... they have a neat online tool to create custom shirts/apparel that works fairly well.

I was planning on silkscreening them myself during my Art period(s)
