Viperdude brought up the idea of having a radio. All good, but we found out it wasn't do-able. So we decided to try a podcast. I'm currently working on this idea together with Cmafai and Radave. I'd like to know what you guys would like to see (hear) in a podcast. It's probably going to be presented by us 3, but we aren't certain on it yet. We have to see how it will work out first.

If you have any idea's or thoughts. Please share them. We've already thought of some stuff too, here's what we've got:

- Have interviews with famous people, from both runescape and runecrypt. But also just have them share their thoughts with us.

- Talk about RS stuff, like updates and all that. But also about what's going on on runecrypt, what the staff's doing etc.

- Special feature episodes, you'll find out when we release them..

Yeah erm, I guess that's kind of what we've got now. Please share your thoughts with us, and you might see (hear) something you suggested smile.gif
RSK
talk about hot topics here on runecrypt.

maybe some comedy, like funniest quote of the week.
Maarten
Already mentioned that:

But also about what's going on on runecrypt, what the staff's doing etc.

Quote of the week might be a good idea though

Promote Pepsi? eep.gif

In all seriousness, we have something at school every Friday that's called a prime time where people talk about the news of the school and show highlights of what happened that week. (i.e. football games, volleyball games, etc.) Since you will already be talking about RS news and RC news, like updates, maybe you can sometimes show "highlights"; like if RC ever does an event and someone records it on Hypercam or Camtasia or whatever. You can show some clips of that said event if possible. Maybe you can also briefly talk about events won on RC (like if AoTM and SoTM ever come back and also announce whoever won the Achievement of the Month). I don't know, just something like that. Just some "ideas" lol. eep.gif

Yeah, what Marteen said, if you have an idea reserve your self a post and fully roll with the idea, if its a chat thing write a script the more creative the better.

There more idea we get the better we can make the podcast, well when im not working on my radio that is.

seems good to me as long as it's fun smile.gif doesn't make much sense to make a serious thing, noone'd listen to it.

Anything aslong as you don't say 'dude' every 3 seconds, Maarten. tongue.gif

Talk about what've been doing on Runescape or something.
Maarten
I will Ian, just for you.
Bliz
Interview with ninja would be neat.
Cloud
You could listen to some of Epic Dolls' podcasts to get an idea of some things you can talk about in a podcast.

Quite impossible tbh, no microphone... XD.gif

Podcast does sound like a cool idea, all you need now is a person that knows what they're saying and has enough time on their hands to do it.

Fiscal Responsibility Segments.

I say a tips segment, in serialness.

The buy one >:(

I think that we should have some sort of Q&A segment for a member. People could vote on who they want to hear about, staff or not, and they can send in questions (rs or rl). For that person (or someone else if they don't have a microphone) to talk about.

Just an idea tongue.gif
I am me and only me

I allready had that idea so i spent a good hour trying to find a @jagex email. I found one, emailed and as of yet no reply. My idea was a Q&A with them, members submit questions, they answer.

Dont get your hopes up over them replying, im not.
