Anyone have any safe and easy to use programs to rip youtube videos? If so link me.

Veoh Web Player is quite useful.

Ignore the main player and enjoy the fact that you can use the small toolbar in the bottom right of your browser to download videos via url or from the current screen.

Not quite what I'm looking for, I'm looking to put videos onto my iPod.

My sister showed me a way to put Youtube videos on my Ipod. It just so happens, there is a video on Youtube that shows how to put Youtube videos onto your Ipod. Somewhat ironic in a sense.

I hope this helps. You will have to download a program which the person in the video will give you the url for.

I use a firefox plugin called downloadhelper, and then I convert them to the format I want with a conversion program There are loads, just google them.

I use the firefox addon called "Fast Video Download" and it works just fine to download youtube videos, but I use Videora iPod Converter to convert the file so it is usable on iPods.

I prefer to use Media Coverter, no need to download software.

Yes, I think this is the best method too.^^ It can be a little slow at peak times, but it's pretty easy to use and gives you a wide range of options.

I used to use websites where you put in the URL, but then they stopped working so I got a primitive YouTube Downloader which not only downloads, but is a highly efficient converter. But not I use Fast Video Download (as previously mentioned - an addon to firefox) and use the YouTube Downloader to convert them to the apple format, then dragging them into iTunes.
