I found this while thinking about buying cod4 via download. This site can actually tell you if your computer meets the minimum requirements to run a game. It reads everything, and gives you a graph telling how far above minimum you are, their recommended, and yougamer recommended, etc.

Thats just an example.

I always use Can you run it?

Those sites are so useful wink.gif

Or, you could read what it says are the requirements on the box/website and compare that with what you have.

Yet what you both forget is that not everyone knows what exactly is inside their computer. If I ask any regular person in my school what kind of processor they have, they most likely wouldn't know. Lots of people just simply don't know. Besides that, this is just much easier.

Go to run (Windows + R), type 'dxdiag', hit OK, and voila smile.gif

I don't think you should be telling Maarten these basic things laugh.gif

Besides, it helped me, even though I know about my processor, HDD and gfx card.

It won't be helping me alot. Since i can't even play RuneScape HD you can figure out how many games a can't play.

Hmm... according to the gameometer site I have a 128mb GPU but "can you run it" says i got 880mb GPU... dry.gif

And yes, dxdiag shows that approximate total memory of my GPU is indeed 880mb, which i doubt.

EDIT: Question,

Total Available Graphics Memory: 895 MB

Dedicated Video Memory: 128 MB

1) Is the 128 MB the GFX memory? (2) And where'd the rest of the memory go?

I wount be needing that. I dont play alot of games on my computer.
