Those hundreds of handkerchiefs that clowns and magicians have up their sleeves, which when in the wrong hands are capable of choking
That's my opinion however, we should ask Ziz or anyone else who did the quest for some info

He's the guy from Assassin's Creed. Got some little knives and such up his sleevsies.

These Strangers are spys of Lucien (whom we met the Temple of Ivok). In the quest, you have to interrogate one of them in the White Knights Castle, and he tells you about another villain in the quest, and such and such....


It's quite funny, if you attack them, they teleport away before you can kill them.
