Are my current stats good enough to try and kill that big beast?

Defense- 75
Prayer- 58
Hitpoints- 79
Range- 74
Magic- 72
Summoning- 53

Cb lvl (without summoning)- 96
Cb lvl- 102

Cash- 3.9m (for now) I know this isn't enough so I will be selling off stuff to fund for Guthan set and someother stuff I may need. I was thinking of getting 100 cb without summoning first my increasing my att and def to around 80 but idktbh.

So, if I can probably take him on, what equipment would you recommend and inv layout etc etc.

You could, but it'd be very hard.

I recommend getting 80 range, 70 prayer, 80 defense, and 80 hitpoints. That's about the minimum that I recommend because even though people have done it with like 60 range and 50 mage etc., it's hard.

Good enough to try, 70 defence and 70 range are basicly the minimums to give it a good try.. it will be very hard with these stats though

tbh i wouldnt recommend guthans as the brew/super restore with purple sweets method is alot cheaper, but its your choice, id recommend 80 range 80 defence along with 80 hitpoints and 60-70 prayer other than that you should be fine and i can see no implications as for gear,

Wow, most of you probably don't even have fire capes. Take it from someone who has one, and it did it with 70 defence, 75 range, and 52 prayer, with almost no problems. After several trips of "practice" you almost don't even need a list of all the waves. Anyway... Guthan is a waste

Get verac helm and skirt, black d'hdie body, black d'hide vambs, white/snakeskin boots, rune c'bow, 1k diamond bolts e. bring 1.5k if ur worried about running out. Unholy book, Holy symbol, Accumulator.

Bring 100 sweets, 7 brews, 1 tuna potato, 18 restores, and a ranged pot.

One thing that helps quite a bit is potting a bunch before you go into the arena. Brew with a brew you're not bringing in, then restore your stats, then pot up range and defence. Extra hp, higher range and def for a while.

i did it with 65 range, no guthans.

I did it without guthans ... its easier with it if you alredy have defence.

Only Jad is hard, if you know when to switch prayers you're good.

You say Guthan is a waste? Its not and thats why it took you several "practice trips" to actually get one with your stats. Guthan helps, thats why people use it. Just because you have one of them it doesnt make you an expert on it, lost of people have these. Go get multiple capes on different types of accounts with different methods first, then you can be the expert you claim to be.
