I have almost 82 fishing (only 10k xp left), but seeing that nowadays I only get a maximum of 25 hours of runescape a week, I'm begginning to wonder if it'll ever take only 3 months to get the very fishing cape.
To all fishing experts: How many hours did you play in a day to get the 99 fishing cape? Also, for 25 hours a week in fishing, how long would it take ME to get 99 fishing (in months)?

P.S. I fish monkfish (more xp and money than lobs)

If you would concentrate on fishing lobsters and leave the sharks till lvl 99. You could get 99 fishing quite fast I reckon. Personally Im not much of a fisher myself, but a friend of mine gets 400-500k xp a day from AFK-fishing (while playing poker etc.) At high lvl 80 / begin lvl 90 it takes approx 2 minutes for a full inventory of lobsters. Do the math =)

shilo is the answer to your problems if your worried about speed, but combinding money and speed stick to monks

around 3 1/2 months at shilo from your current level i reckon
