Full Version: Tour Guide Remakes?

I was looking through the Tour Guides, and I realized that the ones I made a long time ago look pretty... not pretty.

So, since I have about a week of nothing to do the week after next (finishing my internship this week, going to Washington DC with my family next week, and one more week of winter break), I thought I'd touch up on some of the Tour Guides.

Yeah, I know, I don't think anyone even reads them, especially since Jagex decided to thwart all fansites by posting their own guides, but just the fact that my old, poor quality pictured, and outdated guide is somewhere online makes me queasy.

Well, not really.

But I'm sure it wouldn't hurt anyone if I decided to touch up on the guides, add new pictures, etc... right? It'll only be F2P, since I'm not a member anymore (I'm not a PMOD anymore either cause Jagex dropped me due to my inactivity sleep.gif ). And I'll do them using Runescape HD, even though it's laggy as #*$! (I think it's my computer). Anyone object? If not, I'll start on Draynor then. biggrin.gif

I guess that if you are so happy to help you could do some more useful guides tongue.gif There are more important guides needing to be rewritten

Sounds awful lot like a job for writers, Rocof. whistle.gif

Some old guides getting rewritten sounds good.

Problem is that we have barely anyone who has the time or commitment to actually do them.

Okay Jerome, if you need anything just ask me, I can probs provide you with the tools to cut the text bar etc etc we have wink.gif

We'd need someone to code them too... We have lots of things that still need to be coded from a while ago. But if you use the runecrypt website to upload all the pictures I might be able to code for you.

Thanks for all the encouragements smile.gif

I'll post the guide, and I can code it too, as much as I can, then all you guys need to do is replace the image_here with the image.jpg and it's settled! I assume it's the same system as two years ago?

Anyways I just finished most of Draynor, and I'll make a new topic for that.

Nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned, but I don't know.. I would upload it for you, but I re-installed my PC so FireFTP is gone and I don't remember my password... I'll get a new one and help you out.
Btw, try to use as much Xhtml as possible smile.gif
