Help! i think i have a virus. the file is called gamevance32.exe. It wont let me delet it. i have no idea how it got on the computer. my virus portecter thing says it keeps injecting my libay files. is it safe? how do i delet it?
edit: some words are green and when i put my mouse cursor over them an advertisment comesup in a box that says gamevance. and my virus protecter is blocking it trying to inject my files. please help!

First off, where is the file located? If it's located in system32, then that's something you need to get off with more of a priority than before. From a quick google search, apparently some malware disguises as gamevance32.exe and goes in system 32.

What Antivirus and operating system do you have?

If you know where the virus is:

Restart your computer and Press F8 and use the arrow keys to select "Safe Mode" and press enter, when loaded a screen will pop up to ask if you want to stay in safe mode, click yes. Your screen will look unfamiliar but don't freak out. Locate the virus file and delete it that way.
