I know, I know, all of my questions are very nooby, and they probably shouldn't be coming from me

But I just want to know if clans are still a big thing nowadays, especially with the demolishment of the PK system (which I heard they re-introduced, sorta?).

Are the big clans still around, like THE or Anarchy? (or something similar to those names)

i actually havent seen a RS clan in ages but im sure if you check the clan zone area there a still alot of active clans out there

Clans do exist, but many without purpose tbh

Check out RSC for clan wars. usually there are 4-5 wars every week. And yes they do serve a small purpose. That being bringing hell to all the cross their path.

Honestly the whole clan scene seemed to take a BIG step into the shadows of mainstream RS when DS disbanded and the whole DS vs. DI rivalry was gone.

Thats my own experience - but I also don't use RSC which has always been the main area for clans to hang around.

Off-topic: Lol yeah, in the past the famous clans were Damage Inc., DS, Runescape Dinasty and some few others. The famous rivalries were DI and DS, two very strong clans. I remembered going to their War's at the Greater Demon's Ruins up in the Wilderness. There was one time RSD interfered (or was it some other clan?) lol

On topic: Some of the clans have died eversince Jagex removed the wilderness, but when the Clan Wars came out, some clans sparked back to life, but in my opinion, Clans Wars is rubbish. The old PK trips, Wars and ambushing Rune Rock miners were way much fun.

Yes, mage bank is dead, drags is dieing, allot are just luring pvp. Also the med crater bh clans got combat levels since they screwed over med crater. So kill orgy is really good in high crater since all the good HC clans went to pvp.

There aren't many mains clans any more. But, there are a lot of pure, main/barrow clans too. MM, TLP, FOE, FI, the big pure clans are still around, some of them for 4 years. FA, and many other big name clans are all very active.
