Today I clicked on a profile on deviantart (kiz) and I got redirected to a strange site, which was a pdf file. *pm me if you really want the link* From a quick google search i got sites such as "Pdf file has f'd up my pc." and other sites talking about it really being a malicious script hidden in a pdf format.
What's up with this, is it something I should worry about?

Have you ran a virus scan?

edit: scanned and nothing was found. Thing is, all the sites i've seen say the Pdf exploit is undetected by antivirus.

I think it's best if you remove the link. Likely to be an exploit, or dA got hacked (doubt it though).
EDIT:... or you have a virus/spyware/malware/somethingelsethatismalicious that wasn't detected. Is you anti-virus up-to-date?

I'll take out the link, but I update mcafee every few days.
edit: I don't seem to have any pdf files left in my downloads, and the so called 'trojan' comes from a bad advert.

Mmkay. The site you linked me to wouldn't load, but with a bit of looking it was only registered a couple of days ago so I trust it about as far as I could through Rick Waller.
I'd fairly safely say it's a bad link to be allowing anything through on. If you're using IE or firefox and running windows, I might suggest disabling the pdf plugin which ought to stop any such exploits. The only real question is if you're actually infected with anything at the moment. Have you had any redirections whilst browsing the internet? Ie you've tried to go to google and you've just had your internet browser just take you elsewhere?

I don't think it has anything to load. It just uses the pdf exploit to download an .exe so i doubt there's any real pdf file.
I don't seem to be redirected any more than that one time, so I think it's safe to say that i'm okay this time.

I got the same problem the other day except my firewall prevented it from even being put on to my computer. It might be an ad or something I don't know but my firewall is annoying when I find something.
