Okay, I had to reinstall FireFox because I received an earlier birthday present four days ago. But now I'm having trouble with my FireFox. I open up everything in tabs because it's much easier for me like this. But every time I click the "Home" button on one tab, it opens up a brand new tab to the Google engine search. I don't know what is causing this to happen, but it's getting quite annoying. Also, sometimes when I close, or "X", out of FireFox and reopen it without continuing the same session, it will open up for four tabs, 3 or two which are also Google engine searches. I'm not sure if anyone knows why this is happening, but if so, I'd appreciate the help. smile.gif

Btw, I reinstalled a FF 2.0 something which is an older version if this helps with anything.

Tools > internet options > Main > homepage= www.whateveryoulike.com.

Also in the internet options: When firefox starts: display my homepage.

Should do the trick.

Try looking at your default homepage option. If it has a "|" in there, that will tell tell firefox to open a new tab when started. Using google.com| will open up Google and then another blank tab whereas google.com|runecrypt.com will also open up 2 tabs, but it will be both links instead of a blank one for the second.

You may also have a different action selected on the dropdown box for Firefox to preform when it starts up. Im not sure thuogh, Ive been using FF3 for a while now ever since it came out.

Thanks guys for the help. I did what you said Rob and I noticed there it had the "|" like Mark was talking about. I just changed it and it works like it used to. Thanks again you two. smile.gif
