Anybody else play it?!
I just started up again not to long ago and I'm looking for people to play with since this game requires party hunting and not the weak solo hunting.
I started a Monk in the Shiva server.

I heard that like nobody plays it, I never did play it myself either.

It's not like WoW with people in the masses but I always see people around.
Of course that can be a good thing too.

I play it every now and then.
I use to play alot back then but I forgot my account information. Now I have a level 15 red mage and I'm partying at sand dunes

It's very good!
And if you've ever like any Final Fantasy game you'd love this one.

Despite being a Final Fantasy fan, I never picked this one up. It legitimately pissed me off when the game was first released because I found out it had no epic single player story, which I have become accustomed to. On top of that I had dial up internet when this came out, which added to frustration. It just didn't feel like a traditional Final Fantasy for me, so I never gave it a shot.
I might give it a try sometime though, I've been looking for a new game to preoccupy myself with recently.

It's not epic graphic standards but it passes by... it's WAY better than RuneCrap and it has plenty to pass time with.

Well, I went and picked it up today. I got the Vana'Diel, which was $15 so I figured for that much it's certainly worth a shot, especially since it has everything bundled together. I've gotta get the PlayOnline account and all the other shit set up first which I plan on doing sometime tomorrow. It comes with a 30 day free trial so I can play that and see what I think and go from there, it looks fun though. I'll probably edit this post later with details and what not.

Just remember the Shiva server in the Bastok Mines area.

Well, I got it all setup. I did select the Shiva server and started in Bastok. Started with a monk, been doing some research and reading around and I read that a monk is an easy starting choice, and a good way to get a leg up. Once I get him to 10 I plan on switching over to a Red Mage, and work with that till level 30 when I can start unlocking all the other job classes. I figure I'll get to subbing some of the recommended classes for whatever primary class I decide to play once I hit 37. Dragoon's and Scholars are very enticing to me at the moment.

PS even if your a level 10 monk you'll go back to level 1 when you change to red mage. The levels of the different classes don't add together like in RS.
