I'd like to know what you all think about having a Runecrypt homeworld? The idea would be to have a members and a non-members world which would be Runecrypt's 'official' homeworld. It would be the main world to host events in, to have parties, and of course to play in.
You could run into other members, and have a chat with them. This opens up opportunities for getting to know people where you normally wouldn't. Besides, it's always fun to run into people you know and do something together.
For members, world 79 would be the most logical choice. For the free players, I'm not too sure. We can have a final vote on which worlds we should pick, if the idea gets enough support. Please vote in the poll what you think about having a homeworld.

Yes, yes, and yes. I agree that 79 would definitely be the best choice for the homeworld for P2P. Plus, that's the world I'm always on.

Wow, surprised so far. If there's anything you have against it or any reasons why we shouldn't do it I'd really appreciate if you post it though. Can't think of any myself.

Of course we should. Funny thing is, I already thought we did have a home world - that being World 79.

Even if I did come back to runescape, I would always be in World 31. That has been my home world since I began playing.

Oh, I thought we had more than 9 people on Runecrypt. Besides that's a really accurate result, the poll has been up for 24 hours already after all! We should make a decision now! Damn, you beat me man.
I'm getting tired of your criticism. You just rip on everything, but you never come up with any ideas at all yourself. If you can't post your opinion in a normal way, then I suggest you don't post it at all.

Honestly you might as well make a decision, I mean has anyone opposed it yet? Also, last I checked we tried to do this before, and everyone used it at first, but it just tapered off. I don't understand what you mean by "ripping on everything", I'm just being honest. It failed before, some people've already said they wouldn't even use it. It's just like trying to start up a teamspeak or onsite chatroom, everyone was like "WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!" and then no one used it after the first couple of days.
What suggestion am I supposed to have? It's either yes or no, I don't see how any other response would fit, and I wasn't even saying "no" to it, just pointing out that already people are refusing to use it. I don't see how I'm being any less negative than is warranted. I guess I could stop posting if you want rc to be less active than it already is.

I said if you can't post it in a normal way, then don't post it at all. That's not the same as saying don't post anymore.
What you're doing is concluding a topic which has been open for about 24 hours, with no backed-up arguments at all. In other words, it's just bullshit, empty lines without a meaning.
It doesn't matter if people use it or not, it's not like we are forcing everyone who is on Runecrypt to use the server. It's just nice to give people the opportunity to meet others. By having a homeworld we can do that, it will be easier to meet others, because a lot of people are already playing on 79 anyway. If people don't want to go there, then that's their choice, I don't see how it should effect us in any way. I put this topic up to see what people thought, since so far 21 out of 25 said yes, it's likely that we'll have a homeworld sometime soon. I'd just like to keep this up for a bit longer to gather more opinions.

Having a homeworld doesnt mean that you are required to use it. Some people already have lots of friends/communities built up on other worlds so thats just fine if they dont want to use a different one. We're not forcing anybody to switch worlds by doing this. Just about every clan, fansite, and forum have set homeworld so I dont see what the problem is with having one. Even if we dont get alot of people using it at first, who cares?

If this gets official there should be a place on the frontpage which will show the homeworlds. And not a news topic or something but a permanent place.
This way new members of RuneCrypt will know the homeworld straigth away which would probably encourage them to go on that world.
Maybe something for Shamrock?

Shamrock is a li'l late imo... although it can be incorporated with it, we need a temporary system for now.

A simple note on the frontpage which shows what our homeworlds are shouldn't be too hard.

Okay. I'm hella confused. If it is known that 79 is the unoffical Runecrypt homeworld, why do you care what we think?
Okay, just make a "Starter guide" and slip in "Oh, hey, if you want to talk to nice people that don't bitch at each other all day, go to world 79!" Perhaps you can just slip it in around. If there is an inherent problem with world 79 being the closest to offical world, then a crap load of cryptpeeps wouldn't be on this world. There's not a problem with crypters on 79. That's a fact. Just slip it in, it won't cause any problems.
