Im currently killing some blue dragons for there hides and all and I decided to go with range for killing em'
What would be the better bow too use
A Dark Bow
or Magic shortbow

I hit alot more with the dark bow & its two arrow's at once are pritty cool but it is extremely slow compared to the magic short.

The shortbow is the better choice but i recommend a crossbow because you can wear a shield just in case you get too close for comfort.

Well I know a thing or two about ranging.. (yay I regained the front page this weekend)

And I'd go with the Rune Cross bow with even Broad bolts (I can hit 31's without praying) and those are some cheap bolts, plus yeah.. you can wear a shield (with protection vs dragonfire a plus)

I don't do blues in Taverly.. always tooo busy In my humble opinion I do them in the Ogre Enclave usually get 2 dragons on the western part all to myself... and when I do find someone there .. I've found that doing them on PVP worlds is actually good.. I've spent hours there on assignment and never even seen a white dot yet. Having a pack yak to bank all the hides and bones back is a nice plus too!

Well I did to a "damage per hour" analysis of the Dark Bow vs Short bow back when it came out.. and I actually did more damage per hour (3 hours in row) then the short bow.. Yes its' slower to shoot, but you do shoot more arrows per hour since you shoot 2 at a time. So it's not foolish, but they were crushed by the Crossbow easily.

at 99 range wouldn't you hit more off with msb? d bow just slow Shamurai what arrows did you use?

Of the options I chose Dark Bow, but crossbows are good.

In pvp, I perfer either darts or knives.

i would reccoment short bow.

I recommend rune Crossbow. You can never be too safe. You never know when you'll make a mistake so grab a cross bow and an anti dragon shield. Good speed and good damage. Plus you got more defence.
