It seems we havn't got any HD banners on this site, and I was wondering if it would be worth it if we replaced them?

I have got a few screenies worth putting up and might upload them later on.

If you submit banners that are good I'm sure we could get them up on the site. Just keep them consistent with the current ones (no text, not crowded with players, etc.)

To be honest, I don't think I could stand looking at HD everytime I came here. I play on SD.

Get me a pc that can actually run HD and i would be happy to help.

Some of our banners are just crappy pictures. Someone out there is really bad at video game photography.

I'm not quite sure about the size, but I cut out the chat, compass, inventory, etc from these screenshots that you can crop to suit a banner:

They both have crappy quality (don't know why) but when you size them down it looks ok.

Great job. But I'm not sure if I should waste my time on them with Shamrock coming up. Maybe we can use them for that though.



Go to your profile, you can disable banners you don't like. And if you're going to complain about the pictures, show you can do better before judging others.

Shamrock will require a different style of banners anyway

We could keep them and add new ones at the same time.

I don't really see why it's necesairy though. There's nothing wrong with these. Besides, who says your feeling is right? (I'm not even sure if it is)

Hate to break it to you (actually I do quite like to), but Runescape HD sucks. Keep it standard detail if you want it to look good. If I wanted to look at a game with graphics I would play Far Cry 2.

Fixed It's a RS site, so I went for a RS theme, and since HD is "supposed" to be better than normal, I chose that (and also due to the fact that all my screenies are in HD since it's release.

Your problem lies there.

HD looks better than the low detail version of RuneScape, how can you not see that? Some textures on non-updated monsters and NPCs look awful but the rest looks much better.
