Fun Dip yeah I miss Foxglove 
We've removed all but the 'worst' of swares from the filters. This decision was based on the idea that swearing - when used in a 'tasteful' manner is not harmful to a community of 13+. The filters were also removed because they were activating on a number of normal words with the same letter combinations - much likes RS's filters do.
We trust that members will be able to use proper discretion - obviously anything that is simply spamming, or insulting/offensive towards another member is against our tos.

What's wrong with 'em?
They are pretty good in most circumstances. I have to refrain from using swear words because it's just natural for me to do so, but it's not a problem.
I don't even notice the filters? Makes me think they're working pretty well.

Deleted a few posts attempting to determine who was abusing the bug when using not-yet-released shamrock bb codes which prompt for a password.
Figured out who's responsible, please do not use any of the codes you may have figured out which will end up prompting for a password - its very invasive and abusing it will result in me doing troublesome things to your abilities to post.

I'm thinking a filter for turning "gay" to "hot" might be a good one too. Except that punishes people who are actually using "gay" in a non-derogatory manner...
