No rope... no real safety... on some very hard climbs. That guy had some serious BALLS. A 5.11 climb has holds that are about the size of a finger tip and are usually smooth which makes them harder to hold and he just rushes the climbing not knowing if the hold will even work or not... OMG.

Yep. He's nuts and he died doing what he loved. Seems a tad selfish though, he left his daughter behind.

I'm sure he never meant to leave his daughter like that. When it came to his free fall jumps he was generally safe about those from what I understand, but the rope he used for the fall that killed him had actually failed.
