I've been having a lot of problems with my web surfing. Images won't display properly, youtube cannot be seen, some pages say that it's not available wile others have no problem.

Examples:
Twitter-image problems
Runescape-won't load
Xkcd-no problem
Call of Duty official websites-no problems
Alienware website-won't load
Quake Live-"error while loading" page
Newegg-no problem

I updated both my Flash and Java, I tried Firefox and Internet Explorer, and I checked that my driivers were updated properly(can't be too careful) I was able to run all those pages no problem on my grandmother's 32bit Vista laptop, so any ideas?

Maybe your parents are blocking these sites.
Rob
Did you manage to view these pages on the laptop on the same internet connection? It just seems that a lot of those problems would be caused by limited internet connectivity. I'm not saying this is the case, but it's possible.

The sites are definately not blocked, and they were from the same internet connection. I'll try and see if my DNS is outdated.

Ok, I changed my DNS, and the websites loaded fine(albiet without a few graphics, but still reasonable) It worked fine for a while, but now its back to the same old, except now I can't load either Warrock or Combat Arms games in addition to the original webpage problems.

I cleared all my cookies(mmm) and temp files, but to no avail. My blagosphere connection is perfectly fine.

Any ideas on remedies?
